Rights, Theft, Slavery and Serfdom

A right is something that doesn’t require someone else to provide. If you demand that someone else provide you with something, that is called ‘theft’. If it is on-going, it is called ‘slavery’ or ‘serfdom’.

I think we have deemed slavery to be immoral, and serfdom to be intolerable.

That needs to be trumpeted across the rooftops — you are exactly correct. The system we see coming together across the world is a bastard amalgam of Communism and Feudalism, with a strong whiff of pure Nazi thrown in.

Unfortunately, living in freedom requires work. There is a large class of people who just won’t do it.
