The fact that all Kavanaugh’s clerks are female indicates that he has not chosen them on merit, but instead because they are female.
This indicates a weakness in Kavanaugh’s mental character. It is likely that this weakness will manifest itself in his future decisions.
It won’t surprise me if Kavanaugh immediately sits on the left. It is a lot easier sitting there.
You know that “rape culture” is utter nonsense when Kavanaugh (the first rapist Supreme) can assemble all women to serve him. Did they know?
Satan is the greatest deceiver in God’s creation. His outward appearance is only the skin of the truth but is filled with a lie; a veritable wolf in sheep’s clothing. Predators have been hiding in plain sight from the beginning. The only way to know them is by their fruit. So who can you trust, BK or the media? I’ve come to the realization that the media today employs the same tricks of the devil by painting a biased, ambiguous and deceptive picture using pejorative language, which opens the door for weak minded people to draw conclusions using their own inherent eisegetical hermeneutics. So, I have to give BK the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty seems to have been displaced by the court of public opinion.
A pack working together and won’t accept just anyone of the species, unlike a herd that all thinks the same and tries to look and act the same while letting the weak, old or diseased get picked off by the scavengers and attackers, or occasionally driving out the unwanted.
Very R/k
Perhaps this is RBG’s way of indicating that she knows the Democrats behavior at the hearings was despicable since she could never say it publicly.
I know Scalia and RBG were pals. And I accept that she has principles – although they are all wrong. But I find the fact of BK having all-female law clerks a bit depressing. It is hard to avoid the suspicion that he is acting to insulate himself from Leftist vitriol by playing their game. He saw his little girls suffer through his confirmation hearings. He will be on SCOTUS for the next 30 years, and so will Kagan (a far-left zealot) and Sotomayor (another far-left zealot), both of whom enjoy the near-total support of the MSM and academia. He sees how Clarence Thomas is still treated, 28 years after his own confirmation hearings. Is he dealing pre-emptively to protect himself? It would be understandable if so.
I’m seeing more of an end game. Bringing up a generation of female judges helps to kneecap The Radical Left’s “war on women” horse hockey. I’d rather we be grooming the best minds regardless of race, color, LGBQWERTY status, etc, but this is the world we live in today
Well, call me a cynic but no external evidence will change the Left’s preferred memes. Witness “women get paid 70 cents on the dollar”, or “sexism is why we don’t have more women in STEM fields” or “stop and search is racially loaded”. All of these are demonstrably either false or meaningless, and it makes no difference. In every case, the narrative has become a meta-truth. So too here. Kavanaugh can have only female clerks his whole life and he will still be sneered at by the Left.
Kavenaugh had majority-famale staff during his entire tenure on the US Court of Appeals (12 years). He has sent more female law clerks to the US Supreme court than any other federal judge. He’s often talked about his private crusade to get more women into the federal judiciary. This isn’t pandering.
I know. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I see a qualitative difference between majority-female and only-female. The former is a non-issue; the latter is a statement.
What makes this topic more newsworthy than a cat video?
