Freedom & Opportunity: Democrat Dark Money Group Rebrands Party

A new Democrat “dark money” group has raised $60 million to tie “values laden” words like freedom and opportunity to the “party of the little guy.” Can they shake the reputation of Democrats as the new socialists?

HOW THE DEMOCRAT PARTY CAN SURVIVE
I am almost reluctant to post this. I hope no one of the DNC reads this. But I believe it is the ONLY way the Dems can survive, and say what you will about that party, we are all stronger with good, fair honest competition. And for the Republican Party and values to endure, it needs competition; “Competition improves the breed.”

1. The DNC NEEDS to acknowledge the 2020 campaign is LOST – TODAY.
2. The only way for the DNC to survive is to take a strategic view, NOW. Here are a few steps they could take:

a. The DNC needs to create a set of core values, that would appeal to the “middle-of-the-road.” Their only hope of succeeding in any election is to win back those they left behind.
b. The DNC needs to codify these values and have every candidate “pledge” to support them. If a member of Congress they can not just caucus as Sanders but be (D) in name and action.
c. Those so-called Dems, not pledging can form their own splinter party, e.g.; The Socialist Party of America, The Reparations Party, The Free-stuff for Everyone Party, whatever.
d. That would leave only one candidate for 2020, “Creepy-Joe.” He will most certainly lose, but the Dems would cease the current “charade” of being the Loyal Party of opposition and prepare for 2024.

For the Democrat Party, the 2020 election will be lost. Their only opportunity for any victory lies beyond 2020. They would require strategic vision and action — NOW. Fortunately, they are a party consumed by emotion, and the “strategic amputation” of members would “hurt some feelings.”

Meanwhile, the RNC, needs to fight any candidate the DNC forwards for 2020, take back the House, and gain in the Senate and the States. But, as important, needs to look to 2024 and beyond.

Trump was correct in one of his 2016 campaign messages which suggested; “…we have a lot of room in/under our tent. A LOT OF ROOM.” {not a direct quote} The Republican Party needs to be a party of inclusiveness while mainting its foundation.

I do believe you are correct. Unfortunately, I believe the republican party as a whole have democrats running in republican clothing. There are a few notable exceptions. But for the most part I believe the republican party will throw anyone and everyone under the bus. I think Donald Trump was as big a surprise to the Republican establishment as it was to the Democrat establishment.
