I’m currently reading Judgement in Moscow by Vladimir Bukovsky. It has finally been published in English. It details Soviet meddling in Western politics. The author was granted access to the Soviet archives by officials unaware that he was carrying a high tech scanner which he used to copy a tremendous number of classified files. It’s amazing.
