There’s a great episode of the sitcom Becker where the eponymous doctor played by Ted Danson gets into hot water when one of his legendary and magisterial rants is overheard by a journalist. The self righteous liberal accuses him of racism in his column. Becker confronts him on a radio show and the journo quotes back something he said about “these people” cooking outside, saying this is a dig at Puerto Ricans. Becker pounces, saying he never mentioned Puerto Ricans! Libtard race baiter hoist by his own petard.
Here is another such, only this time from real life, not the pen of a comedy writer. I loathe nearly all modern British politicians, for oh so many reasons, just one is that they are making it so bloody hard to write satire. Honestly, how do you follow this?
