I wore a bright red base ball cap today that I had bought years before MAGA. It was without any markings. Interestingly, I live in the middle of the greater Chicago Metropolitan area which is almost solidly Democratic and liberal to the max. I received not a look, stare, or off color remark about it. It was if I had worn my camo base ball cap that celebrates Fryne Lake Farms rather than a bright red cap that would offend the left of left oh so sensitive wannabe dictators of the world.
Apparently the people who live in fly over country still have a good bit of old fashion live and let live left. There must be something about living in New York, California, Washington DC, et.al. that causes people to lose their minds and to see things that offend them that really aren’t there.

My favorite variant I’ve seen is a red hat with text on the front in the white MAGA font:
“Made you look”
If I looked good in hats (I don’t) I’d buy that in a heartbeat and wear it like the plague
