* Note: This episode contains no hidden camera shots of Taylor Swift, but merely a click-bait headline in hopes it would trick America into thoughtful perspective. We know…it’s embarrassing.

Not all perspectives are equally valid. Instead of saying that nine justices should individually come to a conclusion based on their own perspectives, then come together to put forward a rational decision, I would hope that each justice would consult the original intent of the framers, then come together with a decision based on that intent, regardless of whether they like the decision or not.

I know for a fact, just by reading some of their decisions, that some try to do the latter and others try to advance an agenda based on their own “progressive” ideals about what type of country this should be, and the framers be damned.

Well since Neil Gorsuch WAS appointed by President Trump, we shouldn’t give POTUS any credit for that. I say that’s a bunch of malarkey. Less Ott, more Whittle, please.

I think conservatives would also ask “What is better than the USA.. and how can we get the USA to be that good?”

We have to be humble about our exceptionalism because it has little to do with us, individually and personally at least. The system we were given, improved by those that have come before us (and occasionally degraded by others before us) has a great deal to do with our greatness. We also need to be humble because as much as our greatness comes from it, it is our responsibility to pass down this system in as great a condition as we can make it to pay back those that gave it to us.

Another perspective many need to see is the very small percentage of people making such a loud noise in the media and Twitter. If they were not just over the hill we’d easily see they have no one behind them.

Here is also an editor thing I’ve noticed in the last couple videos. I don’t know if anything can be done about it since it is a Youtube thing, but I get two “up next” or recommended boxes that pop up about 10 seconds before the end of the clip, in this video Scott was still talking and they covered Bill and Steve’s faces.

Not precisely sure why, but this episode made me think about the After Hours interview that Bill did with Dave Rubin. During one of those, they both agreed that 80-85% of the country actually agrees on enough policy points that they could form a 3rd party and sweep elections.
I think it was the combination of the Justice mentioning that many of their decisions are unanimous and only 25-30% are contested. Or just the reasonable-ness of his comments.
Or maybe it is since I left social media, I don’t see the vile crap that people toss out there anymore and I am more willing to be reasonable.
