Trust a seminary to lead the way in guilt…

The slavery reparations idea is starting to take form. Princeton Theological Seminary has pledged to spend $27 million on scholarships and other initiatives “to address its historical ties to slavery”.

Wonderfully, Nicholas Young, President of the Association of Black Seminarians, is not satisfied. He welcomed the move but also criticised it as not being a big enough slice of the seminary’s $1bn endowment.

Perhaps, as he is already there and will not benefit from future scholarships, he feels he’s owed some cash in hand. Does it not occur to him that simply by being there he is already benefitting from the seminary’s “slavery tainted” money?

Nevertheless, I applaud the hard to please Master Young. I hope he organises protests and demands his money, and more and more money, maybe showing these limp wristed liberal muppets that they cannot ever do, say or pay enough to please the leftist monsters they have created.

One reply on “Trust a seminary to lead the way in guilt…”

I guess nobody there has ever kippled.

“ It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —

We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”
