Two Aurora Republic-flagged MISC Prospectors work a rock field on Hurston’s second moon, Aberdeen (Stanton 1b). The valuable ore mined from moon’s such as this one are a main staple of the Stanton system’s economy.
The MISC (Musashi Industrial & Starlight Concern) Prospector is the smallest mining spacecraft on the market, suitable both as an entry-level rig for a starting independent operator, or as a larger operation’s fleet vehicle capable of accessing resources in tight space inaccessible to larger mining craft. The detachable ‘saddle-bag’ modules allow for teammates to transport raw ore back for refining, while the Prospector remains on-station and working.
