Right Angle Idea? Youtube, Coppa, and Trump

I’d love to see a Bill Whittle Now or a Right Angle on this topic.

Trump is the head of the executive branch.  The FTC is part of the executive branch.  The FTC is trying to broaden COPPA without a legislative change.  The changes to COPPA threaten to destroy large portions of YouTube.

The broadening of COPPA will essentially put an end to all family and child friendly content on YouTube.  This means that children would be shoved back into the arms of the mainstream media sources (that the Dems currently control) and would give significant power back to the Dems in their fight in the culture war.

Given that Trump is over the Executive Branch, what is there to prevent him from stepping in with an executive order to prevent this from happening?  How can people gain his attention to get him to reverse this?  How many votes could he gain by resolving the issue?
