Israeli Shalva Bend performing for Donald Trump

man – I was crying (mostly because i wanted to run and give Trump a hug)

The “Shalva” bend (Shalva means serenity) is a bend of disabled people, the 2 leading singes are blind, and the guy who run to hug Trump has a down syndrome.
Here in Israel, there is a talent show, that selects our singer to represent us  Eurovision contest, last year, they have reached the final of that show, an if you ask me, they would have won easily,
but then they Found out, that being in the Eurovision involved some Shabat rules braking – so they gave up there place in the final (which is as it self, I think, something to respect)

Usually – I don’t watch TV, but last year, I saw them for a glance, and then –  my wife switched a channel, but I was curious, so after everyone went to bed – I started watching that show (we have a recording device)

The leading singer was telling a story about how she was in the ninth grade, she wanted to join her friends, and she herd one of them say something like – “why do we have to drag her around …”

Obviously – she took it bad, and she wrote a song about that case, in that song she is looking in the mirror (remember – she is blind) and she is telling herself that she sees something good in her, something that it can be possible to love …

So – I started watching that around ~ 23:30.

Around 1:30, after watching it over and over, and not being able to stop crying for that whole time – I have decided that this may be a good time to go to bed (crying for 2 Hour is exhausting, and I’m not the crying type of guy)

And I have a soft spot for these guys ever since, so seeing them performing for Donald Trump – has moved me
