Secretary Sanders: Bloodless Bernie Doesn’t Want to Be President

Bernie Sanders gets a chance to go for the jugular, to comment on Joe Biden’s corruption problem, but he can’t do it because he doesn’t want to win. That’s the case Stephen Green makes in a way that should crush the spirit of the Bernie Bros. Will the socialist geezer snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

This is too rich! Bernie’s ploy is brilliant! Bernie Palpatine eschews power but is slowly manipulating the political system of the Galactic Republic (i.e. American electorate) until he was named Supreme Chancellor (i.e. President) — and eventually Emperor (through marshal law) — ruling the galaxy (i.e. America) through fear and tyranny. His followers are eating from his hand!

Hey — you guys have a far better understanding about the process than I do, so PLEASE correct me if I’m wrong, BUT – Do all these candidates get to keep any left over cash raised for their campaign if they drop out or loose ? Maybe just his job to run and the funds are his income for his trouble…. Seriously though, I would like to know… Thanks

I am not an expert by any means either, but I do recall a number of lesser legal issues where candidates used campaign money for personal things and got into trouble. On the other hand, using money to eat out at fine restaurants while being wined and dined is legal as far as I know, and using it for transportation, going to fancy events to press the flesh, and just being the top dog of the campaign and being on the national stage could be enough. It also attracts people who will buy those houses for you or cars or anything else as a way to curry favor or be seen by the right people in the right places to make money themselves.

In the end I think the usual destination for campaign money is into the national warchest, another candidate’s pool or in some cases returned to the donors in some fashion.

The Dupes are taken for what they are: Dupes. They deserve Bernie but the rest of us don’t. Something you can say about Bernie is that if he gets into office, he won’t do anything. THAT is the best possible thing he could do: NOTHING!
