Had to give a dislike. You can not absolutize liberty. Biology rules over it. Most will quarantine voluntarily but kids wont without sanction. Prostitutes don’t in the face of VD. Those that reject the germ theory of disease have already actively breached quarantine intentionally, in the case of mumps, with their children dying. This virus kills old people and people with high blood pressure like me. We must slow its spread so it is below the number of ICU units. Yes we are trying to double the ICU beds but that takes weeks too.
Yes the disease has slowed down in China because the let hundreds just die. Italy is stuck triaging people choosing to let old people die.

I think the democrat primary in Milwaukee will blow up so badly that they will have no fully recognised candidate. The Bernie bro’s will burn Milwaukee. lol One month later and we are talking about them not having a convention at all. By November Trump people will find ways to campaign without going door to door or voting in person. Democrats will stay home in droves they now have the perfect excuse. Even democrat staffers that normally work the polling booths, and turn dead people into voters, are now unlikely to show up. Trump supporters in NBC gear will end up counting the vote.

I think Scott’s gut has the right answer, but maybe he doesn’t know why. The globalists may have intended for this election (or next) to be the one that brings in socialism. Socialism is certainly a good way of enslaving people. But they have a problem. Not only has Trump and the mere election of Trump forced the actions they have been hiding in darkness to be brought to light, but the politician puppets they have allowed to make millions fleecing regular people have failed in their attempts to manipulate the American people. They have no choice other than to come out of the shadows and try to take care of things themselves.
So who will the nominee be? Michael Bloomberg. Why? Because he’s the globalist turned politician who managed to fix the problems Rudy Giuliani made for them in New York.
But they have a second problem. The last presidential election caused them to loose face with these radicals they have been encouraging as their brown shirts. If Hillary had gotten in and managed to destroy America, the rage of their brown shirts could have been turned away from themselves and used to further destroy America. But now they have to find a way to bottle it up and keep it from blowing up in their face. Also, their hand was forced at such a late date that Mike Bloomberg can’t really get into the race until Super Tuesday. So mayor Pete is there to suck away enough of the delegates from Bernie that the numbers work out for Mike. They can let Pete’s nomination then flame out later. Maybe for doing the dirty deed, Pete can be offered the VP spot.
Why are the globalists in such a hurry? Not because of Bernie Sanders. They’ve known about and used him for ages. No, it’s because if Trump gets reelected, he will take apart their whole financial system…the one they have been using to become rich for the last 100 years. After the next election, Trump doesn’t have to worry about getting reelected again. Usually that makes someone a “lame duck” president. But not Trump. He has been laying the groundwork to really fundamentally change America’s footing back to a better stance.
Many of the politician plants in the Republican and in the government have been flushed out, so that they can’t control those areas any more. Sometimes it’s been a shock who these people have been. Give Trump a new House majority, and the earth will quake. So let’s just wait and see what Super Tuesday brings.

Trump has already got though legislation to create 5000 new banking licences; shift account balances to them digitally; bad banks can’t block that. There is provision to freeze bad bank debt for a time while the new debt free banks get up and running. Everything is set to activate with no warning in the event of a stock-market crash or other event. [A global supply crash is likely June/ July due to the corona-virus. ]
Trump is also talking Gold currency, not gold backed dollars, and the laws needed for that are in congress. Nancy can’t read!
Remove the taxes on gold. Authorise private mints. Block chain technology with safe guards for digital transactions.

When Trump tweets something outlandish check the legislation scheduled for that day. Pelosi and her people run to the CNN mics and are uncontactable for all the banking lobbyists. Lobbyists have already complained.
Recently Texas created a law that authorizes the state to create a gold bullion depository for individuals as well as the state’s own reserves. The plan is to bring it home from the banks in New York and elsewhere and keep it here. I like everything about this plan, and I can’t believe it took us over fifteen years since 9/11 to get it done. I think one has to credit Trump for at least some of it because he has shaken up the status quo and made previously-seemingly-impossible things possible and doable.
I don’t think Trump is playing 4D chess but I do think that he is a master at getting people to take the bait and follow the shiny objects so that they don’t notice all the things he’s whacking off of his to-do list. (Scott Adams has a plausible explanation of how he does this, whether consciously or instinctively.)

The thing that most bothers me about Biden is that I think he is not very far from a complete mental collapse. I know a lot of people here have seen family or friends with Alzheimer’s or dementia. I am not a doctor and all I see of Biden is what is on video but I think Biden could leave most contact with reality any minute which leaves me wondering who would be his VP choice. If Biden won I think he would be gone within a year at the most two. Probably the same with Bernie for more physical health reasons. Either way IMHO the VP picks are critical as you point out.

Given the Democrats attitude toward the Electoral College, shouldn’t state party leaders be declaring that all delegates will be directed to vote for the nomination of whichever candidate wins the national popular vote? Same for whoever’s in charge of the superdelegates.
