In these disconnected times, I’ve coughed up the dough to restore the Private Messaging (PM) feature for Members at BWDC. I’m also trying to get someone to help me test some video conferencing platforms, so I’ve sent some private messages to folks who appear to be online.
If Someone Sent You a PM: You’ll see an indicator on the bell in the lower left corner. Click it to read your message.
To Send a PM: You can send a message to someone else by visiting their profile page, either by clicking on their avatar, or going to Connect > Member Directory. In the directory, you’ll find a new message button.
To Find All Your Messages: You can also find all your messages at Connect > YourName’s Content.

I have been using zoom since this kung flu confinement and the social distance needed cancelled my pilates classes and now I have an option of 3 or 4 classes each week… without leaving home… I attended 4 Passover holiday toasts in the past week… here in Israel it is very popular and even some Rabbis allowed it for the Seder… if it was turned on before the holiday began…
works for me… but I am ready to get back to sweating next to my friends… we do have a couple of feet between beds…
I’ve also, finally, figured out how to integrate the comments gizmo with the rest of the site, so that you can now click on a commenter’s name or avatar, and reach his/her profile page…from which you may send a private message. Again, if you have questions, PM me.
