JAG Corps deploys attorneys in country specifically to write checks to pay reparations for goat herds we “collaterally” bomb out of existence.

Given that a lot of people get no or minor symptoms it might have turned out to be more dangerous than they expected. In that case they could have released it in their own city with the intention of studying how a bioweapon would spread through the local/global population.

If the economic effects are as severe as some are predicting we won’t have to choose not to buy Chinese, they’re already a dead government walking. I’d guess that’ll be clear one way or the other in about six months.
