For those of us BWDC members who have been following the Kinsa (thermometer) Healthweather.us website, you should be aware they have made some really important changes to their methodology to account for the massive drop in illness due to our efforts in social distancing and hygiene.
This change is best described by them and not by me, and the information is easy to digest and it makes sense, at least to me.
It’s really nice to see a company who sells a product for a price (the thermometers) but provides a database and service for free, and is smart enough to know that when the situation changes, they modify their methods to account for such changes…and most importantly, clearly communicate to us the changes and why they made them.
See for yourself by going to healthweather.us. Here’s a screen cap of their Blog Post of the changes.
