Hi all. I’m hoping someone here can help me. I’ve got an aging Drobo FS that I’m using as a media server. It seems to be giving up the ghost. One of the bays has stopped seeing any hard drive and the whole thing seems uninterested in taking to my Macs. Fortunately, that Drobo was only one of of my redundant backup, so data loss isn’t a problem. But now I’m in the market for a new NAS. And from what I can find, Drobo isn’t selling anything any more but their really high-end enterprise stuff. Way too expensive for my needs.
Can any one of you nice folks recommend a NAS from another company w/ similar capabilities to a Drobo?

I looked him up in the Member dir. Didn’t find him. He was exactly the person I was thinking of who could answer that.

I’ve run several of the SMB QNaps at work without any problems.
