so I log back into the site and see I got 3 responses. I click on one of them and the page refreshes showing me that response. Meanwhile the black icon thing on the bottom left that tells me about such responses has completely disappeared, meaning I have no idea where or what the other two responses were. Those should remain in that icon if I want to access it, not disappear. and prevent me from seeing them until the next – rare – occasion when I get a response.

… it was happening to me, too… I would refresh the page to make it reappear (briefly), and lay in wait for it to catch it before it disappeared!

Thanks to a bug report from Ralph, I have changed the setting on the notification bell in the lower left of your screen so that it will persist even if there’s nothing new to report.

I use a Chrome-based browser in Windoze 10.
Same thing happens to me… Sometimes. If I sign out and back in, it normally reappears.
What device do you use. On the three typical devices I use (1 mac, 2 windows based) that bell stays up if I don’t clear it.
it shouldn’t depend on the browser. Why have it disappear at all? Just have a permanent notifications link in the menu or something
