I’d like to take a moment to congratulate my friend and partner Scott Ott on his twenty-seventh wedding anniversary.
This is also a great opportunity for me to publicly thank Scott for his innumerable contributions to this enterprise: the website, this community and so much of our customer is due ENTIRELY to his unsung efforts, after hours and behind the scenes. Both Right Angle and Bill Whittle Now! are unimaginable without him, and his reward for 463 episodes of being paid to be Devil’s Advocate, has been a great deal of vitriol in the YouTube comments. He bears this with grace and dignity so far beyond my meager supplies of both virtues that I never cease to be amazed by it, and by him. On top of all of that, he has to deal with an on-air host whose response time is best measured by geological time frames, and who is also prone to deep dives that produce total radio blackout without warning.
It’s a dirty, thankless job, which he performs with limitless patience and great skill and preparation, so I would urge everyone who reads this to wish him the happiest of anniversaries, as Natasha and I most sincerely do as well.
Scotty, you’re the best man I know.

Scott – congratulations! I can only say that I missed this as my bride and I were out celebrating 26 years, having our anniversary the day prior.

What a beautiful picture! Congratulations on your Twenty-Seventh! We just had our 43rd last week. So grateful for all that you do and take care of on the website. So glad you, Bill, and Steve met each other and bonded. I pray for each of you regularly and thank God for you and your faithfulness.

Challenging ourselves and our ideas is a very important way to keep ourselves honest and level up our arguments, and I love seeing you and Bill take challenges to those ideas head-on. Hear, Hear! Scott has got the deceptive leftist rhetoric down cold! The banter between Scott and Bill on BWN reminds me of the old 60 Minutes segment, “Point/Counterpoint”, or closer, perhaps, to Saturday Night Live’s parody between Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin; (“Jane, you ignorant slut!”)
If Scott would say that to Bill, just once…
