This is really interesting to me and I am going to look into the research behind this claim to “Original Pronunciation,” but I have to say I wish they would call it “Reconstructed” Pronunciation instead. Because no matter how good your research, you will never really know.

Agreed about profanity in dialogue, but that’s not the only issue in writing good dialogue. There are a lot of movies and shows that have terribly written dialogue. The problem as I see it for conservatives is that it needs to be superb dialogue. Think Booker T. Washington–we have to be better at it than anyone else or we won’t be taken seriously.
So, without getting sidetracked into profanity, I would love to hear some of Bill’s pointers on writing good dialogue, period.
