STOP! Hey, What’s That Sound? Everybody Look Biden’s Going Down (For What It’s Worth)

Opening night of the Democratic National Convention included a music video featuring a Stephen Stills and Billy Porter rehash of the Buffalo Springfield classic, “For What It’s Worth” (“Stop, Hey What’s What Sound?”).

The effect — meant to conjure the “mystic chords of memory” from a time when the country was bitterly divided — instead, offered comic relief.

The Problem with the Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) and the gaggle of its members now known asThe NEW Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) with ever GREATER emphasis on MORON is now most definitely ventured into the IDIOT category and completely jumped over Neurotic into a deep state of Psychosis Party. The Party has finally lost their handle on SANITY. The Party of INSANITY is even becoming MORE INSANE in word and deed has and continues to be “Brain Dead” and totally under the spell of THE IDEOLOGY and the “fundamental transformation of America.”
This coterie of “true believer” are totally devoted to “Ignorance is NEVER an excuse for STUPIDITY.” Their words and actions daily if not second to second approves in absolute conformation that their embrace of a Diabolical EVIL permeates their very existence.

I ‘virtually’ tuned in to the DNC for about 90 seconds (that’s all I could take).
And what it is ain’t exactly clear.
I have to thank you guys and other astute media types who for professional reasons were forced to watch the vapidness and bringing me up date on what I didn’t miss.

Some time ago I watched an interview with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. I was impressed that Stills assiduously avoided anything political and stuck to speaking about their music while the others spent the hour ranting about their politics. I respected him for that.
I’ve now lost a lot of respect for Stills.

Scott, you hit on a point that occurred to me, too. This is a party looking backwards to the 60s. Today’s riots (CHAZ) was called “The Summer of Love.” They have no plans because they cannot create, only destroy what better men than them have built.

I’m a 70’s baby, and I love rap, and I love Steve Stills and Bloomfield Stills Kooper, but this is just another one of those sad times where me worrying about doing somebody justice when covering one of his songs was just wasted glucose.

I’m sure y’all are aware that Cuomo kept the official count of nursing home deaths from Covid down by only counting the deaths that occured in the nursing home itself. All nursing home patients who were transferred to the hospital as they were dying are not counted as nursing home deaths. Good politician, huh. Completely disgusting human being.

And now Cuomo is doing the typical democrat thing and writing a book about his “leadership” and response to the coronavirus during those first few months. Apparently while his “subjects” were dying, lord Cuomo has enough time to write a book on how to kill more people from coronavirus and share it with the rest of the democratic leadership.

You recorded before hills spoke.
She actually said “…children ripped from their mother’s arms..” umm hill? You been voting to rip children from their mother’s wombs. Can’t believe no one said.,..best not go there.

I didn’t know until now that a person named Stephen Stills was ever alive. Thanks for that, Steve.

As we speak, I imagine a room where someone has called, “TAKE 149” for Biden’s acceptance speech which will certainly be prerecorded, sliced and diced til he gets it right. With a lot of pharmaceuticals, and Jill patting him on the back, they might cobble together something resembling a decent speech. But you can’t hide his vacant eyes, or his pallor, or his slurring.
The video of him reacting to his nomination looked like a surprise birthday party (balloons and streamers), and I was waiting for him to say, “When do I blow out the candles.”

I’ve “evolved”. Not quite woke but still evolving.
The Biden/ “Heels-up-Harris” campaign already has the pot-smokers vote locked up. Watching them spend someone else’s money, the democrat trademark and favorite weapon, is my dark side smiling.
As I’m drafting my comments, Bill is paraphrasing my thoughts precisely. It was my anti-mentor Barack H. Obama who taught me the concept of redistributing other people’s money. Hiring Steven Stills and the others in this performance is a testament to that cause. (Is there an antonym to “principle”?)
I look forward in the days leading up to election day to gleefully hoping the Biden campaign spends as much of their campaign loot as possible as they solidify their base of potheads, looters, vagrants, and felons out terrorizing our cities, now that their democrat leaders have released them from prison, using COVID-19 as their premise, to victimize the very voter base they depend on to win in November.

I thought the song was a Lando Calrissian coming out celebration. The hint of confused distraction on the guitarists face made it almost too certain.
Next up: Joe Biden wants to be the Millennial Fulcrum! How to leverage your race/gender/sexual preference/etc in this election!

The song in question, “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield, was released in 1966. Smack dab in the middle of the Democrat Administration of the Democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson. As a protest against that DEMOCRAT Administration. So it’s actually very appropriate as a warning of what’s coming if we elect another Democrat administration. That element of our society wants to take the nation back to the days of Weathermen bombings, the Chicago DNC riots (occurring in parallel throughout the country right now), chaos and anarchy. These people know they can’t get there if there’s a Conservative government. They’re not so much political ideologues as wanton nihilists, it’s just that the Democrat Party as it now stands is the more likely vehicle to attain their goals.

In airing this cheap music video The DNC’s Powers That Be thought they were making an ominous comment about the current state of affairs. They thought this because they live in a fantasy world where what they choose to believe has nothing to do with reality. After decades of leftist thinking wherein “your truth” and “my truth” have nothing to do with THE TRUTH they have come to a point where they can live in their heads on a full time basis. They are all living out the hero’s role in their own minds and the hero persona they cloak themselves with is full of outrage and anger. When they are allowed to govern, their policies reflect that outrage and anger seasoned liberally (pun intended) with hatred and contempt for any of their fellow citizens that do not share their outrage and anger.

They are not like spoiled children, they ARE spoiled children. They are the result of generations of spoiled children, bad parenting, failure of educational institutions to educate, indoctrination, comfortable living and psychotropic drug abuse.

If we do not stop them they will destroy themselves and us with them. All the while blaming us for the destruction they brought down on all our heads. The path they are on does not lead to utopia, that’s a siren song that ends in dystopia.

Whether you credit and practice Christianity or not, the Christian Bible warned us of such people and such times, the application is unmistakable …

22 They declared themselves to be wise, but in fact they became foolish.
Romans 1:22 (NTE)

I’m more optimistic: the left will eventually destroy themselves. There are more than enough normal folks in the vastness of this country to defeat them. Remember, all this chaos and violence is happening in deep blue cities. They’re going to burn themselves out, economically. At least, that is my hope.

I know that eventually reality always triumps over insanity. But what will be left for us, the sane producers? So your hope is my prayer.

I’m not as worried about the idiots out in the streets trying to destroy our country. I’m worried about the people who are funding and organizing the destruction. There is money to be made in the destruction of a society (read that in Gone With the Wind), and there are people out there who are engineering the destruction to reap the benefits. I am afraid of the puppet masters, because they are rich and powerful. “I would rather reign in hell than serve in heaven.” is what they say

Well, if the effect they meant to have was, “eww!! I hate that song, change the channel or turn it off!!!” then yes, I guess it was.

I’ve always liked it. But then I like MacArthur Park (Richard Harris version), too, and Scott McKenzie’s San Francisco (flowers in your hair…). And I ain’t no danged hippie, neither.

They aren’t thinking.

It was an imaginary goat rodeo in an imaginary dumpster that they imagined was on fire. They pretended there was a forest where all the trees were falling. There were no trees. There was no forest.

For them, reality is not only optional. It does not exist. It is to be what ever they say it is, because they say it, and only when they say it. Then if reality doesn’t cooperate, it is Trump’s fault and every Trump supporter’s fault for not making their contradictions come true.

Trump may not be perfect but he is a lot better than his opposition. He is at least working to clear the underbrush so there won’t be an out of control wild fire in the near future.

Vote Trump: 2020!

I don’t know how many people will read this, but I sure hope some do! If you get a mail in ballot, look on the front of the return envelope and see if there is a D or R, usually on the left bottom, and CROSS IT OUT with a felt tip marker. It’s meant to identify the voter and you know where the R will go!
I’ll post a video ASAP.

Barbara, I live in a very small town in Maryland, and shared a PO Box with a friend to receive mail because there weren’t enough boxes available — (we lived in a “historic” district where curbside mailboxes weren’t allowed, so everyone had a PO Box) — three years ago my box-mate moved to Florida, and wrote to the local election commission to notify them of her move, and included her new address in that state. This summer a “mail-in” primary ballot was mailed to her at our box. It would have been simple for me to fill it out and return it (which I didn’t). On a national scale, mail-in voting is a recipe for chaos and distrust in the election process. And violence in the streets.

Defiling the flag while having a dude in a dress singing a hippie anthem after Mooch scolds the bitter clingers? Thst will bring them back! I’ve seen the simple analysis of that video – “The night that Trump won reelection”
