While Kenosha, Wisconsin, burned, the reaction to the police shooting of Jacob Blake has been muted compared with the nationwide uproar in the wake of George Floyd’s death. Have Democrats, Black Lives Matter, and the news media realized that America hates riots? Are they more concerned with their 2020 election prospects (beating Trump) than maintaining the 24/7 barrage of racial injustice messaging.

Scott, you totally LOST me. IS? not the Goal of the Left/Progressive/Modern Liberal/Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON)/Statist/Marxist and lets NOT forget FakeNEWS to sow Mayhem, Chaos and Turmoil across the landscape periodically speaking through the Emotional Center that “they” are the BEST vehicle of Choice to bring Peace, Harmony and Justice to ALL?
We are un-blessed in Wisconsin with a new Gov who sides with the rioters as his initial response was not to condemn but to side with the rioters in Kenosha.
Things got real nasty in Kenosha as it digressed.
We have folks who reside outside the city and after two days they were warned that the rioters were planning on moving into the county. Folks took up arms and blockaded the streets to prevent intrusion.
First point, and this you must have missed, is that the victims mom is a Trump supporter and came right out and said she does not blame the President and wanted the violence to stop. Very bad for the media and for Biden to have his mother be a big Trump supported and get air time.
Second point: First fire not only needs fuel and oxygen, the third element it needs is HEAT. I think the fuel is in the simmering people, the oxygen is the actual incident, (or maybe the two should be reversed), but the heat is the media. You must have all three for a fire.
I am proud to be a member of BillWhittle.com. I grew up in KY, moved to Denver with my husband’s job in 1989. We retired and moved to Lawrence, KS to be near our daughter. We feel connected and sad as to what Denver has become. We feel connected and sad at the destruction in Louisville, KY over the Beonna Taylor death and how media has misrepresented that situation. We live in a totally liberal conclave in this University town and feel isolated. And now even more isolated because of Corona with my husband’s immunosuppression health issues. I am thankful for the insight of “my boys” on Right Angle. Thank you.
Bill, you are spot on–the issue is pushing reasonable people toward Trump.
Also, have you noticed that liberals like taking away non-lethal resources from the police? They seem hell-bent on removing everything between asking politely and using lethal force.
Bill i think you are giving the media and other organizations to much credit for being able to think. I think the reason they have not used this incident is two things. 1 he clearly has a knife in the video and he was reaching into a car. 2 he didnt die, you only get the 72 virgins if you die in the attempt, they have no use for a living martyr. A living marter can let you down but a dead one can promote anything you want.
Not sure if you guys had seen it before you recorded this, Fredo Cuomo and Don Lemon actually said this aloud on Tuesday night. “The rioting has to stop… it’s showing up in the polling, it’s showing up in focus groups.” Don Lemon
Yeah, crotch-grabber Don is famous for saying the quiet part out loud.
Steve: “I forgot the phrase there for a moment” Steve, if you are 50 or so now, it only gets worse from (back) there. 🙂
Scott: “no real program … no real agenda”; and the reasonable and responsible legislative effort in the Senate led by Tim Scott went nowhere because Pelosi did not get on board, even as excessive concessions were made in the Dems direction. Protests at night in front of the police station are a poor substitute for honest grievance protests in the daytime at the state house or city hall, at least if your real goal is significant changes to policies and practices on the ground. We know that; “they” must know that; but that is not where any local (or external) leadership is taking this “program”.
So leftist social disruption is still clearly the higher aiming point; otherwise responsible leaders would have already stepped up, passed new rules or laws, and begun implementing some practical changes. Defunding the police and interjecting social workers prematurely into domestic disputes are not responsible answers.
So Bill is probably right and they are just “Bidening” their time until voting errors or some other event can be used as grounds for new protests, riots, and other coup related extravaganzas.
So by extension, does the application of that rocket fuel by the media make them complicit in the resultant violence?
A riot is a riot and should be stopped using the minimum force necessary. If the force required is lethal, so be it.
The minimum requirement for holding rights is the refraining of violating the equal right of others. Because of this, no individual has the right to violate the right of another for any reason whatsoever. Those who do violate the rights of another have removed themselves from the universe of rights holders. Hence, the rights holding individuals have the right to do whatever is necessary to stop the violation of rights: up to and including use of lethal force!
Had this principle been used for the first riot, there would have not been a second, third, fourth,…nth riot.
