Bill I’m not as convinced as you are that she is a reliable 5th vote for sanity. Robert Barnes has brought up some real concerns with her recent favorable citing of Jacobson which was the precedent behind decisions like Korematsu and that she may be on the wrong side of lockdowns. All of which are far from originalist or textualist positions. Contrast her opinion to the recent decision of Judge Stickmann III in PA. We’re gonna see here real quick. I hope you’re right.

At 16:20 Bill mentioned abolishing the electoral college and admitting new states would require ratification by all the states. Regarding the latter point, Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 of the US Constitution says otherwise. “New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.”

  1. Liberals project their beliefs and actions to Conservatives because all a person actually knows is themselves so the Liberals believe that Conservatives are the same as them.
  2. If the Democrats win the Senate and Presidency and pass legislation adding members to the Supreme Court there will be lawsuits and the matter may end up at the Supreme Court. How do you suspect the current nine member Supreme Court will rule on this?

To all of the Lefties melting down over this, to paraphrase the great David Burge: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH- *Gassp* CHOKE (cough) – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

If the so called Republicans act as they have for the past 150 years plus, they will fold. They do not hold the principles necessary to protect our freedoms and liberty. They will negotiate them away just to get the Democrats to love them and to stop saying bad things about them.

I will admit that I am surprised they held together long enough to confirm Amy Barrott to the Supreme Court. They did and I congratulate them for doing it. There is a chance that the collapse of our civilization will be visibly slowed because of it. How much? At least a little.

After the confirmation, it gets much harder to hold the line and work to rebuild our free republic. There must be a greatly improved understanding of the part that freedom and liberty plays toward creating a living thriving civilization. Mark me cynical after having watched Republicans and Democrats in action over a significant fraction of my 83 years.

Our right to exercised any of our individual rights has strongly and steadily diminished since the mid 1900’s. They were under strong attack even then. The so called progressives have made sure of that.

The so called Republicans protected our freedoms and liberty almost as well as wet tissue paper could. The Republican Party should be called the Spelunker Party because they have caved to the opposition in the worst way at the worst possible time and have done so with an amazing consistency.

The real battle to regain our free republic has just begun. It is going to get very ugly from here on out.
