Upside down display of American flag

I know that traditionally flying the flag upside down was a signal of dire life or death emergency meant to attract immediate help.  If the democrats succeed  in stealing the presidency for Biden, would it be appropriate for remaining Americans to fly the flag upside down in protest.  If we no longer have free and fair elections it is the death of our republic.  Perhaps this powerful symbol could be a wake up call about the danger to the American dream.
