Here’s what I’ve been worrying about, and I’m hoping there’s some optimism to be found here among like-minded people.
Like Mr. Whittle himself and like so many of you I think we’re going to have to non-violently resist the illegitimate government that looks poised to assume power. We’re law-abiding Americans, guaranteed by our Constitution a government that tolerates dissent and gives our views a fair hearing, so the idea of looting and burning is anathema to us.
But what if that choice is taken out of our hands?
Biden hasn’t even been sworn in yet and the Left is acting not like a political party that won an election but like an army that conquered a hostile nation. They’re talking about truth & reconciliation commissions and re-education camps. They’re talking about firearms confiscation. They’re saying that anyone who supported Trump needs to be rendered unemployable and driven from society. There are elected democrats calling on their supporters to commit extra-judicial violence (i.e. terrorism) against us. Based on what we’ve seen this past summer the country is riddled with courts and police agencies willing to turn a blind eye to such violence. And we have the entire technology and finance industries eager to help them ruin our lives.
In short, the people who have spent the last ten years openly lusting to ruin or end our lives are 30 days away from seizing the last bit of power they need to finally do so.
Have we given any thought to what it’s going to look like if they act on their most vile impulses?

I am so depressed. They ran around our country and took it over in the name of COVID. Bill’s Resist movement gave me some hope (and I spent some money to join here, Hi, everybody!).
I don’t know what we’re going to have to do. I’m looking for Bill to cheer me up!
Now honestly, which part of the constitution is still in effect? Not a trick question. If it was working Bill would not run the recent series of getting BACK America.
Ask people of MI on how they could peacefully assemble and petition. Against the clearly unconstitutional activities. Big part of the country just assisted in going to house arrest and lockdowns. There was not even shortage on volunteers to help out.
Your troubles are not starting next year with a Biden takeover, you live in it for a long time. IIRC people demanded to abandon big chunk of freedom after 9/11 spook. then submitted to all the SJW movements, the socialism and everything.
Law-abinding when law got put out of mysery? Not even in secret? To me sounds just as an excuse to let the fall continue without intervention.
Sure, I absolutely agree that you’re not supposed to take it out on your fellows, business owners or bystanders. Looting is what the mob does. But there should be plenty of room to protesting against the actual wrongdoers. In whatever way that works. I’d start at the basics like at least stop sending your own money their way directly and indirectly. And if you’re attacked (or your fellows), stand firm, defend and counterattack. Or do a preventive strike, stripping the power to hurt you. Instead of supporting the lawlessness.
I have given thought to the consequences. I can see and feel how bad it might be, and I can’t understand how anyone takes it in stride like what is happening isn’t unprecedented and isn’t that dangerous. Being able to say “I told you so” will be no comfort at all.
The choice is only taken out of your hands if you think it is. If they start acting on their “vile impulses,” it’s up to you to either fight or not. The real question is are you willing to risk your life and your safety to protect your freedom?
There are two parts to this: peaceful and non-peaceful, and we are quickly running out of peaceful option. About half of the country thinks this was a stolen election, and it’s the armed half. Both however, require that we start working and coordinating with likeminded people, and turning our backs on those that turned their backs on us.
Start within your local communities and governments. Work with politicians and sheriffs who are willing to stand up for the Constitution, and work to throw out of office those that don’t. Find and work with people who will have your back, but make sure that you have theirs as well. If the State threatens to cut a sheriff’s funds because they had the audacity to do the right thing, like they did in Virginia, propose that it comes from the city’s coffers, and maybe deduct it from the State’s taxes. Overload the emails and phones of your “elected” officials.
If you’re worried about losing your job or being arrested, this is where getting to know people is important. If you work for someone who may bend the knee, be prepared to find a new job. Save up money for moving. If federal agents start to come-a-knocking, like how the ATF is starting to do, it may be time for communities to start putting pressure back on them with local militia. Agents might be less inclined to arrest someone if 30 pissed off, armed neighbors show up. This is why Antifa and BLM have been so successful. Don’t use sites like Gmail or Facebook to coordinate. Even if your not doing something illegal, feds will still cook up some excuse to pay you a visit. And, for the love of God, don’t ever talk to an officer or agent without a lawyer present.
There are some special operations channels like Mike Glover and Warrior Poet Society that talk about survival, either packing up or digging in. Have a plan, have supplies, and be prepared to bug out to friendlier territory. Most important, have connections.
Do we have 3%, is it up for it, is it enough? We have the numbers but do we have the will? I hope to be pleasantly surprised but ‘I’m struggling with reactive disappointed since that has been the resultant reality over and over and over again. Being decent and fair has made us patsies. Being decent and fair is an ideal that might have to be abandoned.
Hm, I agree completely that being fair and honest has hobbled the right’s ability to respond to these encroachments… But, at the very least, it gives us integrity that reasonable folk can see and empathize with.
Bill is right–even with all the weight of Big Tech, Finance, Media, and the Deep State, almost half of the population is still staunchly right-wing…
At the very least, this makes me feel as though a certain subset of the population will always be at least right-oriented. Personally, I believe that the near 50-50 dynamic we see in politics is indicative of some kind of archetypical, psychological divide. It doesn’t mean that ideals of Freedom and Liberty are naturally born in us, but I do think about half the population has a predisposition of some sort…
If only there were some way to keep the decency, but be more hard-nosed. Perhaps the most vocal way to do this would be to organize sit-outs, and oust neo-con establishmentarians from politics at large… But this is so much easier said than done…
What I am particularly afraid of is the Republican Party splitting up over this issue–the soft, weak RINO core of the party has seriously damaged liberty alongside the liberal hegemony for the past 40 years. But if weak republicans were ousted in exchange for party strength on core issues, we would lose even more of our already weak voice in government. It’s a catch-22.
Frankly if the States can’t organize any reasonable fight against this voter fraud business, then protests should become the norm. I can’t see any other way. But right wingers need to maintain the decency they’re known for.
We need to lean into our strengths so that the average Joe, who is uninvolved due to no fault of his own, can understand that we’re not protesting out of some allegiance to a political creed, but rather for the sake of Republican Virtues.
