Sanctions (thoughts from a previous MB2A post)

My first blog EVER! No idea what I’m doing but here goes. Warning: I write a lot.

I don’t recall which MB2A episode it was but the idea of segregating the pro-American from anti-American came up. Gave me some thoughts that I don’t know what to do with.

The word Sanctions came to mind. Why give our money to those who despise America and hate Capitalism? Let’s give them what they want. A world where their businesses fail because they hate Capitalism and think it should be done away with. Why feed the monster bent on destroying us? Stop giving our money to corporate giants that feed the socialist, communist, globalist machine.

To accomplish something like this, it would take a lot of effort on behalf of Patriots. We’d have to somehow identify who the America-loving business establishments are and do our best to: (a) solely patronize them; and (b) share their information with other Patriots so they can also patronize them (a Patriots Yellow Pages of sorts).

Not only do I not have the time to lead such an effort, I have few resources to go on. But the idea is dead already if it’s not shared. So, I thought I’d put it out here to see if anyone who does have available time and resources might be inspired.

We’d have to figure out an easy way to share their info with as many like-minded Patriots as possible, to give them as much business as possible.

With permission, we could create the Patriots Yellow Pages right here on BillWhittle.com. Don’t know if they’d go for it but we can ask. It’s behind a secure login and only paying members would be able to see it. Of course, we can always share the info with other non-paying colleagues, if we choose.

Maybe a simple database can be created with an entry form that Members can populate as we learn of Patriot-owned businesses. A bonus would be if they shipped, so others can order online if unable to physically shop at their store.

The downside is, how do we keep it up-to-date? How and who would manage and maintain it? It’s going to take available and dedicated resources, human and probably monetary.

We could do weekly shout-outs, preferably on non-sensoring social media platforms. A “Patriot Business of the Week” to try and bring business their way.

Anyway, that’s the idea. I believe Bill said in the post, it’s no longer Democrat vs. Republican; Liberal vs. Conservative; it’s pro-American vs. anti-American.

So, if these anti-Americans truly despise us for loving our Flag and standing up for our Constitution, if they truly hate America so much but refuse to leave this great country, then let’s stand together and make it so unbearably uncomfortable for them that they either come around or get out. Because, truth be told, they’re adding no value here.

Much of this is wishful thinking but I guess we’ll see what happens. Of course, something like this might already exist and I’m just ignorant of it. God bless!

I have The same thoughts. Why are we feeding the monster?! Why are we supporting companies by buying products made in a deplorable communist country? Only manufacturers and businesses want to have relationships with China to make money. We are not patriots if we buy anything or support businesses that do business with and in China. I agree there needs to be some kind of website/database with information and options to buy from and support businesses that do not have foreign interests. Made in America needs to be the rule for patriots. Companies like Amazon and Walmart need to have filters online that allow you to only view products made in the USA. We need to demand consumer rights like this and until they comply their business needs to suffer by us spending our money elsewhere. I have found a couple sites that focus on American made products that I believe we need to support. No more Amazon for me and their cheap Chinese crap. Done.

You start dreaming too big. How about starting with the most obvious. Like exiting facebook, twitter, all the mainstream media… After you make significant amount of people abandon those for good, we may start looking for the rest.
And in the meantime do something more productive. Unless you can justify going for some small guy while leaving the big turds alone.

Hi Douglas,
I have had a similar idea recently and a similar lack of way to get it done. It was pointed out that there is a web site that does some of those things,
