Heads I Win, Tails You Lose

Imagine, if you will, an alternate January 6Th, 2021. A small respectful group of Trump supporters enter the Capitol Building presenting a single rose to each congressman they can reach. The connection to Tokyo Rose is quickly established by the Twitterati. The “Trumpers” it is claimed are threatening Congressmen by connecting them to someone accused of treason, potentially marking them for harassment. [Clutch pearls here.] It doesn’t matter what we do or don’t do. The trap does not depend on our actions but rather our lack of ability to ignore them. It is Bill and Republican Congressmen that have fallen for the trap by giving these media and political narratives one iota of legitimacy. These people should be ridiculed and mocked. We should be saying ‘hey, it’s a mostly peaceful protest’, but alas, no. No, only the true God Emperor of Dune could muster such self-imposed isolation in sacrifice to the Golden Path. Bill is right though, it’s going to be the people that have to get us back on track, not some glorious leader. The problem is a counter long march through the institutions has about the same chances of success as the Ardennes Counteroffensive. They’ll see us coming a mile away. We have a better chance at the golden path avoiding an American styled Socialism or a somewhat Columbian style Civil War through the rise of a true centrist party. Trump was a good attempt; a 90’s democrat taking up some republican positions, but TDS extinguished it. Perhaps Gabbard will be an attempt from the left. If so, I hope we don’t refuse to see anything other than our GDS. America 1st.
