Decalaration of non-compliance — edit 15:06hrs zulu 2021/01/12 yes ymd!

If I were an American citizen;

please feel free to critique – to edit and re-post … whatever.  I would say it is rather presumptuous of me as an Englishman, but considering the signatories to the document this was based on were mostly Englishmen, I guess I am in good company!

 

Declaration of Non-compliance

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one group of people to take a stand and say to their oppressors, “I will not comply”, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to their position, and what those positions mean for the future.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among those people, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed — That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of those ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly, all experience has shown, that people are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations undermines the rights of the people such that they cannot speak freely for fear of judicial or extra-judicial punishment, that they cannot affect a change in their government through the ballot box, and that there is no recourse when even the highest court in the land will turn a deaf ear to their grievances, and that those in power have granted themselves immunity from prosecution from any and all crimes they commit against the people; the people have a right to non-compliance, until such time that the government is again beholden to the people and respecting of their rights.

Such has been the patient sufferance of the people of these United States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present Federal government and in many cases State governments, is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

Those in government have made themselves immune from any and all prosecution, allowing them to knowingly and with malice, usurp the constitutional rights of the people and face no personal consequences.

They have raised taxation to such levels that it impoverishes the nation, laying claim to the fruits of the labor of the people, not as a limited necessary evil, but as though the people are their slaves.

They have partaken in corruption in discourse of such egregious levels that it is splitting the nation apart – making false accusations to facilitate using the functions of the state to spy on their political opponents. Falsely accusing the sitting president of working with foreign powers as a means of undermining the election, while unconstitutionally changing the laws of many states, specifically for the purpose of undermining elections.

They have warped the highest law enforcement body in the land into one whose purpose is to justify not prosecuting members of one political party for crimes they have committed, and prosecuting members of the other party for crimes they haven’t committed.

They condemn everyone as racist for political purpose, while simultaneously condemning people based on nothing more than their skin color.

They call for tolerance while hurling the most egregious abuse at their political opponents.

They accuse others of corruption – as projection of what they are doing.

They not only permit, but actively support, months of violent riots, but when ‘the rabble’ break into their palace and sit on their throne, the call it the worst crime in human history.

They have selectively enforced the law, with serious crimes being ignored on one political side, while even those who do nothing more than defend themselves when threatened or attacked are prosecuted to the maximum extent possible.

They have used the functions of the state to suppress and silence their political opponents.

They have colluded with the media and technology companies to shame, censor and punish those whose opinion they disagree with.

They have usurped the States by legislating at the Federal level that which is correctly dealt with at the state level.

They have not only allowed, but supported, outside influences in elections in order to alter the outcome.

They have deployed government agencies such as the IRS, FBI and Department of Justice against its citizens to unjustly target civilians for partisan political purposes.

They have acted outside of their authority and outside of the laws enacted through the legitimate democratic process, in allowing people to unlawfully enter the country and given them access to the resources intended for legitimate citizens and residents.

They have used violent mobs such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa as paramilitary forces to intimidate, attack and suppress political opponents.

They have, through the congress of these United States and the legislators of certain States, infringed on, and in many cases, abolished, the people’s inalienable Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms as they see fit, rendering them vulnerable to enemies and insurrection domestic and abroad, and from a government becoming increasingly hostile to the rights of a free people.

They have, under the guise of public safety, grossly abused their power by forcefully restricting the people’s movement through intimidation of imprisonment, destroyed the livelihoods of many, used fear and threats of arrest should we exercise our right to peacefully worship and peacefully assemble as guaranteed in the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. They have encouraged citizens to publicly shame and report to authorities those daring to not comply with unconstitutional orders – actions which are devastating to social cohesion and whose negative effects will likely last generations.

In every stage of these Oppressions, we have Petitioned for Redress in the humblest of terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our American brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by the legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our rights. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.

We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity of our refusal to submit to these abuses going forward, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We stand resolute as a people, knowing that behind us is a history of standing up against tyrants and usurpers, often at great cost in blood and treasure. Standing up to end slavery in the world, be that slavery of plantations, or the slavery of socialism, both national or communist.  Standing up to recognize the rights of historically oppressed groups. Now, we are standing up for everyone, standing up against the rising tyranny and abuses of an ever more distant and contemptuous political ‘elite’. 

We, therefore, the People of the United States of America, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, that we will not cooperate with the Federal Government or State Governments until such time that the following legitimate grievances are addressed and rectified to our satisfaction.

All government workers are to be subject to the laws as are the people. – Sovereign immunity, qualified immunity, process immunity (political prosecutors simply choosing not to prosecute crimes by their political allies) … any immunities from civil or criminal liability must be severely limited and only available when the individual has done their due-diligence to ensure their actions were legal and constitutional;

That mechanisms are in place to stop and reverse the continual rise in taxation.  Taxation is, at best, a necessary evil, we are not simply tax livestock – slaves;

That the electoral process is robust, with a full audit trail available – the only limiting factor being the need to maintain ballot secrecy and anonymity for the small group of people who have shown their identities must be protected;

That the legal protection enjoyed by the technology companies is severely curtailed and mechanisms put in place to ensure the rights of the people are available online;

That election funding to candidates is only permitted by those who are registered electors in the candidate’s constituency;

That election funding in support of candidates, including by biased application of rules in social media companies, is limited where possible;

That political opinions that are otherwise legal, cannot be used as justification for the denial of services, either online or in real life;

That the FISC and any other secret court is abolished, as the government has conclusively proven that they cannot be trusted with such powers;

That any and all provisions in law for ’emergency powers’ are legally prohibited, as not only do they falsely claim that the state has that authority, but recent history shows the scale of abuse of the people those powers facilitate. These prohibitions in law must contain clear personal liability for any individual who breeches the rights of the people while claiming ’emergency powers’.

That our right as citizens of the United States to keep and bear arms (weapons of war) as we see fit, as both an individual right, and for the purpose of forming and maintaining citizen militias, as guaranteed in the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, shall be respected, with no exception;

That term limits shall be imposed for all elected representatives to be determined by voter referendum and enforced through appropriate legislation or constitutional amendment, to give the control of the state back to the people it supposedly serves, and to thwart and eliminate any future possibility of a self-appointed elite ruling class;

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor. We will take no action other than to say ‘no, we will not comply’, to protect ourselves, our liberty, our property and each other should this government continue to attack the freedom our forefathers fought for two and a half centuries earlier. However, should this government initiate violence against the Citizens of these United States, We the People hereby declare the exclusive right, with warning and as last resort, to forcefully defend our life, liberty, property and pursuit of happiness, against any illegitimate government we shall so define, by any means necessary, and/or to the extent which be appropriate.

I emailed my edited version back to Touay a couple of hours ago. Mostly corrected minor typos, punctuation. I didn’t add to or change the content other than that.

Just read it and I loved it. Very well written. Don’t waste it. Post it everywhere, print it out and post it as flyers or mailers. Let’s get messages like this out. The other one touray wrote and I added to reads very much like the actual declaration but who cares it gets the point across and we need to get it out in various forms!

I want to give it a bit of time so people can find it. Lynda Shafer is giving it a look at the moment, so hopefully we can make it better still.

Beautiful – thank you! I’m pretty good at catching spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, and I saw a few, so when everyone has finished adding, improving, and tweaking, I’ll be happy to do the proofing before it is widely dispersed.

Wow, that was brilliant! I think we should use this as the new Declaration, and divorce ourselves from the oncoming illegitimate government!

This needs to be circulated to the red states governors and legislators. I encourage anyone here to make any additions. I would also add the grievance:

That our right as citizens of the United States to keep and bear arms as we see fit, as both an individual right, and for the purpose of forming and maintaining citizen militias, as guaranteed in the Second Amendment to the constitution of the United States, shall be respected, with no exception.

I cut and pasted your text into a word document, and made edits and additions. Where can I send it to you for your review and comments?

Bully for you, Englishman! Your Declaration may need a little tweeking, but definitely works for me. Where do I sign?

This just shows how close our 2 peoples are in thought and spirit. I believe it was Winston Churchill that said “We are two people separated by a common language.”

Its a great shell of a document! I can add things as I have more ideas, one of them I posted above.
