If I remember correctly Bill recently talked about the Gaslighting movie. I just watched it. After reading that comment section I’m glad I never had any abusing family members or friends.

I just watched it for the first time. I found out that the thing that everyone always says is the main thing the husband uses to deceive the wife, that the gas light is off when it’s really on or vice-versa, never actually happens in the movie. He uses all kinds of other things to drive her mad but never that.
Other than that, it makes perfect sense that the term “gaslighting,” defined as it is, comes from that film.
