When is enough enough?

The Capitol Hill Militarized Zone is going to be maintained until March, with sources claiming until the end of the impeachment trial.

7,000 troops will be maintained until the trial is expected to begin in Febuary, and at least 5,000 will be maintained until the trial is complete, expected to take six weeks.

At what point are the governors going to recall their troops? This is ridiculous. I’ve seen 3rd world dictatorships with better political decision making abilities.

Apparently Q-Anon is the determining basis for a rumored March 5th day of concern. I guess that is when Trump will be sworn in for a second time.

The guardsmen are cranky, hungry, tired, and confused. There is no clear directive. Laundry facilities are nonexistant. It’s the middle of winter. And the kicker, the supply logistics are not able to keep food and water delivered at a reasonable interval.

I suggest we all blow up our governors phones and politely demand our guardsmen be recalled. Being sent to the sand box to fight a war is one thing. Being sent to establish a military occupation in DC is is plain embarrassing.

For what it’s worth, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and New Hampshire have recalled their troops. The additional troops arriving in DC at present are active military forces, not more National Guards.

Trust your military. They are not robots. They have families, a deep devotion to their oath, and a deep love of America as a beacon of freedom. The old school brass at the top (not the Joint Chiefs) see the Constitution as a sacred document.

They do not take being treated like discarded tools lightly, nor do they suffer usurping despots well. (Watch videos of the Marines refusing to salute Biden when he walks into the Capitol Building and of the National Guard troops turning their backs on his motorcade and refusing to stand at attention.)

The news of what happened to the 5,000 troops in the garage has and will spread like wildfire throughout all branches. If a heinous order was given (like kill American citizens, take away guns, force people to get vaccinated against their will), I can guarantee you there would be troops who would refuse that order and possibly even shoot the person who gave that order.

I personally take their refusal to recognize Usurper Biden’s authority very, very seriously. I take the reports of the Pentagon blocking Biden’s access to ongoing classified operations very, very seriously. Military men are exceedingly serious about their respect for authority, and to deny it tells me a lot about what’s going on.

I used to sneer at what I thought of as the “anvilicious” nature of the story-telling in both the books and the movies of “The Hunger Games”. Forced tributes brought to the capital from the districts to fight to the death on behalf of people in the safest of safe spaces. It seemed kind of ridiculous as a depiction of a dystopia. I couldn’t take it seriously.
I think I need to take a second look now.

Looks like they’ve created their very own “safe space” at the Capital.
They felt like they were going to be “killed” on Jan. 6th. Afraid for their lives because the people they actually “rule over” had the audacity to show their faces and ruin the sanctity of their hallowed halls & chambers.
How dare the “common man” walk or sit in the same places they do!
They probably had to hire a contractor to come in and “disinfect” the place afterwards.
They could care less about the troops. Just more “rabble” to use & discard.
They don’t care about a budget or the money they spend. Obvious for decades. They simply trade future generations’ work for $ now.
Sadly, my governor is a Dem and doesn’t listen to his “peasants”. We’ve tried to recall him twice.
He shuts down businesses, mandates masks, allows no warrant raids, and buys his new multi-million dollar condo in Boulder.
