The Mandalorian star Gina Carano was fired for comparing being Republican today to being Jewish during the Holocaust. Thus, she was doing somewhat what I was recommending in recent blog posts, namely to frame social justice as essentially Nazi ideology.
We can learn a lot from this. First, the behavior of the outrage mob is exactly like the Nazis. They, of course, fail to see the irony. However, the reaction also tells us what the radical left fears. They definitely fear being compared to the Nazis, and therefore they will cancel people who do it. This is a sign that this strategy works.
Now, let me explain what Carano did wrong. She went too far in the comparison. The Holocaust was the end result of the Nazi ideology, the Final Solution to the Jewish problem. If social justice is allowed to continue, they will end with a Final Solution to the Whiteness problem. It will end in genocide, if no-one stops them.
However, we are not there — yet. Therefore, making comparison to the current state of Nazi oppression (similar to Germany around 1936) to the final state (Germany at the end of WWII) is not correct, and also counterproductive.
What Gina Carano could have stated is precisely what I said above: The way Republicans are treated in 2021 is about the same as Jews were treated in the early 1930s in Germany by the German Lives Matter movement, and for the same reason. This would have been kosher, because it walks the thin red line between provocation and cancelation.
If anyone calls for cancelation based on the above soft statement, one can fairly reply: “that’s what the Nazis did too. They called for the cancelation of the Jews. It didn’t end well.”
The point is that the over-reaction to Carano telling something that was mostly true — but exaggerated and premature — means that it is an effective strategy. Thus, what is needed is more of what Carano did, but softer, and within the language of German Lives Matter, systemic racism, racial justice, Jewish privilege and Jewish supremacy.

I cancelled my disney+ subscription, giving her firing as the reasn.
I also email lucasfilm to politely describe my concerns.
Same and well spoken with the only thing that actually matters to these elites, money.
Amazon, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, need to all feel the loss of their customer base. The woke left are not the ones buying the sports memorabilia or the season tickets or the sports drinks, shoes, and other non-essential crap.
Most of the supposed woke supporters, can’t afford these things on their own, because they don’t want to work hard and earn anything.
Parents please stop supporting these 18-35 year old children in these avenues also.
If we, as the true consumers, put forth just the effort to not support things, ideas, and institutions we don’t want to support, most would of them would fail and go away without any other actions.
Find alternatives to the woke supporting, consumer hating suppliers.
Why support something that treats you and your family like garbage?
We deserve to be treated like valued customers, with respect and appreciation.
Well: Except for government intervention, discriminating laws, and bail outs for woke systems……
If I said that being a Republican today is like being a Kulak under Stalin, no one would call that anti-Slavic ‘racism’. Assuming they even knew what happened to the Kulaks (imposed famine, exiled to Siberian concentration camps), my statement would be recognized as hyperbolic but not racist. Insulting to the survivors and decedents of the Soviet terror, but given what goes on in social media every day how does any statement like that even rate. They call Republicans Nazi’s daily and appropriate the holocaust for every fashionable cause under the sun.
Carano didn’t make any sort of ‘anti-Semitic’ statement and her firing is ludicrous on the face of it. It is sad that the knives were out for her at Disney and stupid that they are so woke. I haven’t seen the show, but she was clearly the breakout star from all that I’ve heard. Does Disney really think they can continue to insult so many fans and stay in business? How does shrinking your market by nearly half make you successful? They spent nearly 4 billion dollars on Star Wars and they haven’t netted even a fraction of that back yet. Do business people just not learn business anymore?
Kulaks were the productive farmers in Stalin’s time. Purging of the Kulaks caused famine, much the way incompetent managers will kill a company. Disney has some incompetent ideologues who are killing the Disney brand piece by piece. If this continues, Disney’s “magic” moat will be gone, and the company will experience the Kulak famine.

Responding this is typical conservative/Republican and is to fall into the gaslighting trap that they laid for you. Instead of focusing on the content of Carano’s comments and her point, you are now back to defending yourself. The correct response to Disney’s firing for making “culturally demeaning” comments is to say the following:
Disney defended the Nazi regime. They fired Carano for making culturally demeaning comments about Nazi persecution of Jews.
This throws the ball back in their court, and turns their argument back on them, jiu-jitsu style. Every conservative should now say that Disney defends the Nazis.Every conservative should be tweeting:
“Disney have come out in strong support of the Nazi regime by firing Gina Carano, who criticized the Nazis. I reject ANY kind of support for Nazism and therefore I will cancel my Disney subscription in disgust.”
I concede the point; to debate the content of her social media is to accept that one can or should be fired for what they post on social media. Rational arguments don’t win the day when the battlefield is an emotional one. Who said that you can’t reason someone out of a view they didn’t reason themselves into? As for your jiu-jitsu, I’m more of a karate man myself ;-), but you are right to engage on the narrative level.
When your opponent brings a gun to the debate, you do not respond with an argument. You use a gun in self-defense. This may not be a rational *argument* but it certainly is a rational *response* to an assault.
Now is the time for conservatives to hire her. Prove that we’ll support those who stand up to the woke mob.
She is one of only a handful of actresses that can pull off being able to physically compete with male warriors. She will be missed.
I think she knew two things: 1) That this would get her fired and 2) That it would get larger release that way.
While I agree that your comparison is more appropriate (the Nazi’s also prohibited gun ownership) it would not have resulted in her firing or much press about what she said.
What is required now is for more people to state that she is closer to being right than wrong, making your argument from above.
She should try to get on Joe Rogan’s show to discuss.
