I stand by what I have said many times elsewhere.
I will not argue with the idea that someone may sincerely believe that they are trapped in a body of the “wrong” gender. I don’t claim to be able to see into people’s minds, so I’ll concede the point. Okay, so stipulated.
But the thing is, someone can “self identify” as Napoleon too, and I can’t tell how sincere that person’s beliefs are either. However, that does not create a duty in me to address that person as “Mon Empereur.” It might be polite, but it isn’t evil or wrong if I decline.
And it most certainly isn’t evil or wrong for me to refuse to give that person command of the French military on such a basis.
Well said. My position on this gender confusion is much simpler and more crass:
I suggest that all of these confused individuals shove their pronouns up their collective butts, because that is where all that crap belongs.
Exactly. I just can’t understand why people don’t just speak out consistently everywhere. If I believe I’m the POTUS am I granted entry to the WH and access to the nuclear bag? Or just a padded cell if I demanding it too much?

I am old enough to remember how we joked about the East German’s “women’s” olympic teams and how manly they were. This chemical advantage was considered unfair to American women. So we started testing for excess testosterone to maintain a level playing field. Then the chemists got better and the testing always lagged. The best female athletes I recall were Martina in tennis and then Marion Jones. Marion was just a great all around athlete. She got busted for “cheating” and had her medals taken away. Now a guy can beat a woman, and it’s supposed to be ok.
We have lost our minds.

Perhaps this decision will FINALLY wake up the raging feminists who have been used as pawns to destroy the family unit, hate white skin, punish men in family court, support abortion at any stage, and promote the male-ization of females.

The comments by Zo about the Tower of Babel are interesting, and I must admit, new to me as a way to look at that episode in the Holy Scriptures.
I’d need to look at them again, as well. The interpretation I was taught of the Tower of Babel, was that the people built the tower to “reach up to heaven, to be on a level with God”.
The tower was destroyed and the people scattered to punish them for the hubris of thinking themselves equal to the Creator.
That’s why I love my brother in Christ, Zo. He keeps me reviewing my studies. Sometimes we disagree, and sometimes his interpretations do change my views. His focus on God’s Word may not make him popular among all Conservatives, but it’s his steadfast conviction that makes me proud to call him my friend.
Zo’s interpretations always challenge me to study daily, and review my studies. He and I sometimes may disagree in some areas, but they’ve never been core issues. We’re all that much better friends for it too. His being here now, was the reason I went outside my budget to become a member here.

Exceptions can be found. The real question is why aren’t all women in sports screaming that this is wrong. Martina Navratilova tried and she was made to bend the knee and see the light of her wrong think.
I am suspicious that there is an authoritative body able to make very serious threats to those challenging the current imposed changes. I suspect those threats could even include the murder of the “offenders” or their loved ones. They can’t all just be cowards giving in to some social or peer pressure.
I have an immigrant colleague, whom I shall call John, in the scientific community who was ostracized from a programming language standards board because John had the “audacity” to send a private message to a colleague, whom he considered a friend at the time, stating that he supported Donald J. Trump. That so-called friend shared the private message with the review committe for the language standards board and had John’s application for the board summarily-rejected and permanently “tainted” John’s professional reputation.
There is no single authoritative body. However, there is an ever-increasing number of brainwashed fools who are either completely self-absorbed within their own fantasies or are fearful of losing standing/position by opposing the political left — perhaps both. The lock-step behavior of these fools is not evidence of an organized conspiracy; it’s just the standard behavior of lemmings and sheep. It only takes one complaint and the lemmings will suicide themselves and coincidentally destroy society.
Should switch to some more healthy language, i.e WG21 does not have such problem.

Sure, running away may not be a solution (though if everyone objecting behavior did that there is a chance the remaining body is defunct and some backlash follows).
I just mentioned that is is not how all the languages work. I don’t know which you did refer, but it reads strange. If it’s under ISO then just sharing a private mail is a serious COC violation and the infrastructure can be used to sanction the committee if not acting on the report with some real corrective action.
