Let us all know when they restart child torture and sacrifice (the torture was purposely extended as the tears were pleasing to the gods). Broke bones. Carved flesh. Burned them alive.

As worship of the one true God wanes people will return to worshiping idols. Which only leads to violence and destruction. A tale nearly as old as time itself.
True true. Even the Israelites weren’t exempt from temptation, crafting and worshiping the golden calf while Moses was literally up on the mountain talking to God.
The one thing people who criticize God for being mean and vengeful often fail to realize is that His anger was often directed toward Israel. He made it abundantly clear that though they were His chosen people, they weren’t to think of themselves as better than anyone else.
I guess the anti-American, California Board of Education has never heard about what happened to the Canaanites when Israel came into the picture (in ancient Palestine). Long story short, the God of the universe doesn’t like pagan worship or child sacrifice, and they were wiped out by His Hand (and Israel). The left seems to always back losers don’t they?
