Geraldo Rivera Supports HAMAS

*SNARK* This comment of mine is Satire in the form of ‘The Babylon Bee’:

May 19, 2021: The Democrat National Committee begs Fox News commentator Sean Hannity to refrain from hosting Fox News commentator Geraldo (Gerald) Rivera as a spokesperson for the views of the political Left.

After a nationally televised segment of the Hannity Show on Fox News aired May 19, 2021, where “Geraldo” apologized for the murdering terrorists of HAMAS, and justified their rocket attacks on Israeli civilian population centers as a (justifiable) response to the cutting of speaker wires at the Al-Aqsa Mosque (Tuesday April 13, 2021), and he went on to denounce the Israeli Military (IDF) counter attacks due to the collateral damage to Palestinian civilians (that HAMAS uses as human shields for their terrorist activities).

Sean Hannity (moderator of the show), and fox News contributor Dan Bongino, both voiced strong disagreement with “Geraldo” during the segment, pointing out that the terrorist Palestinians had started the shooting. “Geraldo” (anti-Semite) became quite agitated and argumentative after being presented with a world view that conflicted with his Left Wing terrorist supporting orthodoxy, and he devolved into a mumbling bumbling scum bag.

Political operatives from the Democrat party (while not disavowing Mr. Rivera’s comments) are now demanding that Fox News post up a ‘crawler’ on all of their videos featuring “Geraldo” stating that; “The views of Geraldo Rivera do not reflect the official policy position of the White House Biden Administration, or that of the Democratic National Committee.”

A DNC spokesperson and Nancy Pelosi were heard to comment; “Come on man, you guys made Geraldo look like, you know, The Thing!”

I saw that show, Geraldo devolved into a quivering mass of leftist goo and started screaming “You punk!” at Bongino.

Gerry Rivera might or might not be welcome as a spokesman for the DNC but I could hear HAMAS cheering him on all the way over here where I sit in the U.S. HAMAS was thrilled that Gerry was spouting their very own talking points on Fox News. Verbatim. Word for word.

Of course Gerry Rivera brought up the same lame excuse for HAMAS that Hillary Clinton did with “Gaza is a very small place, there’s nowhere to situate warfighters, their weapons and their command and control but in nurseries, kindergartens, hospitals and mosques.”

Yeah right. Collateral damage is a feature not a bug from where HAMAS sits. Not only do they get the reluctance to drop bombs on their well deserving heads due to hiding behind babies and kids while they shoot, when those babies and kids get killed they get idiots like Gerry Rivera screaming into microphones “Oh the CHILDREN!! Think about the CHILDREN!!!”

Yeah, maybe think about the children before you decide to use them as human shields for your warfighters.

What Gerry seems to love to ignore is that not a single one of those Palestinian Arab children he’s shedding all those crocodile tears over had to die. Not one.

If you arm yourself and go to rob a bank and in the process of apprehending you a police officer shoots through you and kills an innocent bystander, you get charged with murder not the cop. Why is this? Because when you decided to step outside of social norms and the law your decision resulted in a death. The fault, and guilt, is all on you for robbing the bank in the first place. Of course the cop will try really, really hard not to shoot when an innocent bystander is lined up behind you but sometimes there just is no option about when to fire on an armed bank robber.

Does this sound at all familiar? Had HAMAS not started firing rockets at Israel, no matter what their reason was or how slim their excuse might be, then no Israeli bombs would be falling on Gaza.

That’s all on you, HAMAS.

If HAMAS even tried, however lame the attempt might be, to target IDF facilities instead of DIRECTLY targeting civilians, they could at least claim to be engaging an enemy with at least a modicum of moral authority.
