Russian Collusion Finally Found! The Call is Coming from Inside the Biden White House

During the Trump administration, the media and Democrats spend a lot of time making accusations of Russian collusion in the American political process. Steve Green found it!

During the Trump administration, the media and Democrats spend a lot of time making accusations of Russian collusion in the American political process. Stephen Green examines the verifiable policies and actions of each U.S. president and says that Russian collusion is finally found — and the call is coming from inside the Biden White House.

Revisiting the “Russia Collusion” stuff always makes me think of who the Russians really wanted in the white house in 2016. Please explain to me why they would have wanted Trump- who had already stated his tough stance against them in his remarks when running for election.
Recall that Hillary had given them the reset button (improperly labeled as “overload” in Russian of course). And she had already sold them 20% of our uranium resources. What more could they ask for? And then they got to see John Kerry sponsor that pitiful James Taylor performance for the French (had to throw that in)
So, yes, I doubt they wanted anybody besides Hillary in that seat in 2016. Who else had announced that they were on their backside with their belly up for a pat?

I think Scott was countering the usual leftist complaint about Republicans, especially the Texan import that they all thought was one, while lauding the “maverick” Democrat (sadly from my state of WI) Feingold the meaningless do-nothing.

Yes, I wasn’t complaining about Scott, I was complaining about the usual leftist complaint.

Except that the usual leftist complaint has, as usual, become part of the lexicon we use as THEY define it, which is always the opposite of its original meaning. It’s a long way from “cowboy = bad” to “man = woman” but they got there eventually, and we bought and continue to use probably 95% of their redefinitions.

Wasn’t there a book about that? 1980-something?

Actually, the original term was used to apply to Ronald Reagan who had starred in several cowboy films. And the hatred for the term was an implication that America kind of liked to be the police of the world’s problems. Show up with guns blazing, and solve the problem. It worked, but they didn’t like it. And Reagan’s face-down of Iran added fuel to their imaginary cowboy fire.

That’s interesting. I was mostly thinking about W and the animosity they had toward him, but I don’t know if the hatred of him lead them thinking we shouldn’t be intervening, or if enough of America hatred led them to think we shouldn’t and hated him because he was trying.

Reagan, the cowboy actor, would be even more of an outsider and his plain spokenness certainly wasn’t wanted in Washington, even in those days.

As in movie “Robodoc”.
— I didn’t think children still play cowboys and indians
— Of course not, they play cow-persons and native americans
Back in 2009 it still passed as a joke, who thought it will become actual policy in no time.

As Bill likes to say, you can’t beat the biology out of people.

I don’t think children pay outside nearly as much anymore, depending on where they live. But the small children I know, who would rather play a video game than almost anything else, love to go outside and jump on the trampoline (best purchase ever), swim, swing, climb trees, or just run around screaming.

One of my aunts was at the forefront of what I didn’t understand then (I was in junior high) was the attempted feminization of men. She would not allow her precious son to have toy guns. One day the precious child and his friend went outside to play, and the first thing the precious child did was pick up a stick, point it at his friend, and yell, “bang! bang!”

(Fortunately, despite his mother’s silly attempts to damage him, he grew up into a good and well-adjusted man who has a beautiful family and is a great dad.)

I think it was someone at Ace who said, “Projection isn’t just a river in Egypt”

Glad you made that point about the difference between Russian citizens and Russian government. The same point needs to be made between Chinese people and the Chinese government. Neither of those groups get a say in who leads their government.
That said, Biden’s incompetence allied with his desire to let certain regimes flourish along with Kamala’s incompetence will give other governments free rein to do as they wish.

We need to be just a little skeptical about “the Russian/Chinese people don’t really support these regimes” outlook.

Russia appears to have some Asiatic (and maybe Viking?) aspects that don’t drive them to the Western attitudes towards liberty and individual freedom, derived in large part from the Western culture fostered by Christianity. Not sure why the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church did not lead in the same direction, as it would also have been fully influenced by the same Greco-Roman elements of our culture, as well. If the Russian people did manage to get rid of their oligarchic thuggish leadership, they could probably come to terms as a modern Western constitutional republican nation in pretty quick order.

On the Chinese, I have read that the Han are very “racist”, or at least supremacist, in their attitude towards all of the exterior “barbarians” that they have either conquered or subsumed over the centuries. Thus they have accepted totalitarian imperial regimes for those same centuries. Clearly, the political and business success of Taiwan and other Chinese diaspora groups around the world show this is a cultural viewpoint, not a genetic one. Tiananmen Square and Hong Kong also show there is a thirst for liberty under the CCP blanket.

I’ve never made a real study of Russian history, but what Steve said about it being part of, and culturally loved by, Western Europe, rings true. During the times of the monarchies, the Russians did exchange family with the other royal houses, though perhaps not as much as the other major powers were nearly incestuously intertwined. There was trade and the exchange of goods, and ideas, east to west but several decades of Soviet indoctrination have brainwashed generations of Russians, but not completely. The crime gangs and corrupt bureaucracies have not been completely eliminated either and since the current regime finds them useful, it isn’t going to try that hard.
I don’t know all that much about the Eastern Orthodox, but as they split from the Roman for various reasons, I would suspect them to be more freedom focused, but then again any organized religion can be co-opted by a cabal from within.

The Chinese on the other hand I would not consider the same way. They will have negative feelings toward Westerners (if the feelings are still present) going back the colonial days. There is also an ancestor based group of religions that would place more focus on doing well now for them, rather than for yourself, which counters both the individual focus of “between person and God” of the Abrahamic religions as well as urging a harmonious society (at least until the Communists made themselves the church of the people, but then preached many similar things).

Your points about the racial superiority are similar to what I have read and their long history of empires (and deified emperors: not just the picked by God concept but that they ARE god) and little experience with democracy means there is an up hill climb there. With as many people as they have, a critical mass might not need as large of a percentage, since 35% would still be a larger number than many countries can count.

Liberty part of the western culture? Did you skip the last year and a half? When the “liberal” parties at helm threw the population to effective house arrest, and more? And all but a handful of people pushed back against the tyranny? The mass of the population welcomed the chance to police the others.
There was a saying, that the best accomplishment of the devil was to convince the world to believe he doesn’t exist.
It’s probably the same fenomenon, the “western” culture was educated to believe they HAVE the freedom, so no point to actually create it in reality. Just like the pigs’ method was admired in the Animal Farm.

Heh? It’s just the very old consdescending American BS looking down on the rest of the world.
Even now. 🙁 Exporting democracy ideals an picking on other countries where elctions ANCTUALY work and the ourcome DOES reflect the will of the people.
It’s really “nice” when people from a country that doesn’t have even basics like voter id, runs “douche vs. turd” elections since forever, and just last year had a blatantly fortified election still keep saying things like others don’t have free and valid elections.
Guess what, that attitude is a big part of what you have. And ensures that it will stay that way and if anything, will get even worse, as bills like HR1 did not yet pass is just a small miracle.
A big majority of Russian people DO want Putin at the helm, for a bunch of damn good reasons. Like that the so-called “opposition” is 8 part hardcore communists that would just throw in all the money the country has and can get from debt to rise pensions and support no-workers. And the rest is a bunch of soros-suppoerted soyboys, like those who got to power in Ukraine arranging the coup some years back — then also sent the country to bankruptcy and IMF bailout while wreaking havoc all around too.
So PLEASE, stop speaking in other nations’ name when you don’t know shit and honk the exact opposite and maybe concentrate on getting your country together first, to show some GOOD example to follow. For a change. Just pointing to 200-300 year old event and pretending they still work does not count. When destroying the foundation is not even a covert op as it went for many decades, but by now is out in the open, including dropping names, statues and teaching the population to hate that.

Imagine the glee of our adversaries at seeing a stumbling, mumbling, frail old man trying to be the leader of the free world.

Our adversaries don’t care a bit about “elder abuse” or anything related to age and incompetence. To them Joe is a feature not a bug.

The worst part of that is that those who stand against Western Civilization not only know an opportunity when they see it, but that the opportunity probably will not last and so they need to exploit that opportunity sooner rather than later.

I promise you most sincerely that at this very moment on this very day there are powerful people around the world discussing how they can make the most of this windfall in American weakness.

Even more scary is that while Democrats have foisted this mumbling, stumbling, frail old dotard on us they are moving en bloc to consolidate their lock on American political power. Because they know weakness and opportunity when they see it, too.

I watched the G7 coverage and in watching the POTUS and his looks and actions I see a person who is rapidly declining in his cognitive ability.
It is not only a scary sight but also a Sad sight to watch a person decline before our eyes. It almost borders on Elder Abuse.

His wife is guilty of abuse since she started fronting for Joe in the media a year ago. She got her wish to rise to power in order to protect her “precious” boy, Hunter.

Per this link: https://www.biography.com/us-first-lady/jill-biden Jill is not the biological mother of either Beau or Hunter, although of course she could still love them deeply after caring for them from their early childhood (with money presumably never being of concern). “In 1977, the Bidens were married. Biden helped her husband raise his two sons from a previous marriage, and they had a daughter of their own, Ashley, in 1981.”

Or she just wanted to avoid Hunter related scandal that would impact Joe’s being elected? Perhaps her concern was to help Joe achieve his “heart’s desire” of being president before it was too late? Maybe not too much concern with what might happen to the country, though. But they are living in a different world (in several different ways) than any of us.

WE are the ones being abused–the Usurping Elder in the WH is the abuser. Please don’t let yourself drown in sadness over Biden while he destroys this country. Open your eyes!

This may sound callous, but I have zero sympathy for Biden* given what he’s done to political discourse in this country over the last 50 years. A great way to annoy TDS suffering Leftists is that they showed how much they hate Trump by voting for the guy most responsible for the climate that allowed for Trump’s rise (Does anyone recall a single Leftist calling out Biden’s behavior after the VP debate with Ryan back in ’12?). Horrible human being, and constant public humiliation and an asterisk next to his name in the history books is a perfect final act to his story

Let us be callous, because the enemy (i.e., Biden et al.) would not only throw the American citizenry under “the bus” they would back it up and run over us all as many times as necessary to still the twitching corpse called the United States of America.

Very good point. I keep forgetting that we haven’t reached the point where us Normals hate The Radical Left as much as they hate us. Yet.

Cool coffee mug, Bill! You mentioned the other week that you had a bunch of old unsold merchandise – why not put up a shopping link for your leftover inventory?

Right now other world leaders are staggering out of their cells, timidly looking around, and saying to each other “Are the guards really gone?”

Not sure I agree. I seen them looking around and saying, “Tonight we’re going to party like it’s 2009 – 2016!”
