Call me slow (been called worse) but just found out what BIPOCĀ means. Black, Indigenous, People of Color. What does that mean? I’m Caucasian, but after a few days in the sun, I’m pretty dark. Does that make me a “People of Color”. I was born here, so am I “Indigenous”, am I a native? My grandparents were of “native American stock”, so what does that make me? Heinz 57, I guess. Oh and by the way, why is “Black” separated from “People of Color”?

I would be classified as white. As far as BIPOC, white is a color. But I am not white. I’m a brownish pink. Unless albino, “whites” are some shade of brownish pink. Some more red, white or brown. The whole thing is a way to divide us and get power.
I wasn’t always indigenous, but I am now. As for color, I’m a very Irish shade of pink, and if left in the sun more than 15 minutes, I’m a red man.
