Bill on “The Way I Heard It with Mike Rowe

Bill was on Mike Rowe’s podcast “The Way I Heard It” yesterday.  I recommend it.

“I knew it! If scientists had invented Communism, then they would have tested it on rats first.”
Brilliant punchline that is applicable to these #@^* experimental drugs for COVID. The despicable, human experimentation continues throughout history.

I saw a 4 minute video clip of this yesterday…I can’t find the full length video. Does the full length video exist or is the only option to listen to the audio?

Troy’s link below and the link I found on Mike’s FB posting about this episode both go to an audio only page. I don’t know if there is a video or not, though there is some comment about a chat the producer asks Mike if he can see, I think that was just for internal comms and not a live show audience option.

Also listening now…….great program, great topic. In 1995, as the 50th anniversary of Hiroshima approached, amid much media hindsight about the missions that brought about two wonderful results (as Rush said, “War ended, and we won”). I was chatting with my now deceased father-in-law about the controversy – he had spent the entirety of WW2 in the Pacific theater in New Guinea, Phillipines, etc. When I said, “If they had not dropped those bombs, there would have been a quarter million American soldiers killed taking the island.” To which he replied, “I’m one of them“, He then pulled out his copy of the CINCPAC Invasion Plans for the island of Kyushu. He had his beach assignment and knew he would likely die there. Nuff said.
By the way, Enola Gay was a B-29 Superfortress, not a B-17, as implied early in the podcast – a much bigger plane, which made Tibbetts’ maneuver even more impressive.
