This is what you get from someone that hails from Planet Moron.
I am not as optimistic. We can say, “nobody’s buying Gillette” or “Nobody’s watching the NFL” … but the fact of the matter is though these franchises have taken significant hits over this … people still buy it.
It’s not that the wokeness sells. Not at all. It’s just that enough people don’t care and will let this happen until it’s too late to stop it.
We need to find a way to wake up the apathetic without looking like this guy.
You may have started to bring me around toward the end. But if so, yes, it’s going to have to get much worse before it gets better.
How? How do we win? How? These fools cheat, lie, use violence, use corruption, use coercion…And most conservatives cannot be bothered to stand on a street with a sign. How? The cheating happened again in California. It will be in every Red State in the U.S.

This is a distraction. There are so many more important issues to discuss.
The Soviet Union went from 1917 to ~1990. So hard to disagree with ‘we will win” claims. But they are not very practical. If the win is 70 years ahead, most of us will not see it. Only the “get worse before” part.
The majority of the voting people definitely enjoy the SQ, just confirmed all Newsom’s actions. And traditionall where CA goes USA goes. Unless a bunch of states actually start arranging to eject CA, NY and W-DC the mind rot will just continue to spread as it did for the last decades.
That is just the truth. Sadly, it cannot be argued against.

I think the most important item that needs to be fixed is election integrity. This needs to be done immediately before anything else because we cannot win if the votes aren’t valid. I’d be willing to bet the CA Recall was rigged!
I think if the voting on Nov 2020 was not corrupted and manipulated, 75% of the votes would have been for Trump! That’s right, an all time huge landslide!

I live in Southern CA and it happened to two of my friends. They did give them a ballot after some arguing. Did you see the voting machine subtracted votes from Elder…did not add to Gavin…as it was airing live? How do voting machines subtract? They are made to add. Same exact thing that happened in Georgia.
Cortez got exactly what she wanted. Press. The feeling she is relevant. Everyone is talking about it. No matter if it is negative. As they say in Hollywood, no press is bad press no matter what it is as long as it gets in the news. I do believe she thinks she is a movie star. Her small bartender brain works like that.

Her Mantra is Tax The Rich
She wore a “Designer” dress (very expensive) to an event that costs $30,000 to attend and is a (wait for it) Tax Deduction for the Rich.
AOC “earns” $175,000 per year as a congress-critter. This puts he well inside the top 20% of household income in the USA. As an individual she is easily top 10% of income. She “earns” more than 13 times the poverty level of a single individual in the USA.
BTW – the “elites” had the ball were sans mask. The “help” were masked. AOC, the self-described champion of the working class could not even feel like she was breathing the same air as the working class.
You’re very correct about “the hypocrisy needs to be pointed out over and over …” etc.
It’s not that hypocrites care about their blatant hypocrisy. They don’t or they wouldn’t be bald faced hypocrites like AOC in the first place. Pointing out their own hypocrisy to them is futile, they don’t care obviously.
It’s the effect that their hypocrisy has on other people. People who side with the ideals AOC, Bernie et. al. expound have to look at their hypocrisy and decide that they want to be hypocrites by supporting hypocrites too.
This leaves those people with a political choice.

(Even then this has no effect on single issue voters, btw. If your raison d’être is centered on abortion, you’re going to vote for the abortion candidate because you don’t care about anything else. It’s the non-single issue voter I’m talking about here. Convincing single issue voters is a different matter entirely.)
There’s a reason why open, blatant hypocrisy is not generally considered a positive thing and if people like AOC want to supply the ammunition we’re fools if we don’t use it on them.
Personally, I like AOC. She’s the best Democrat that ever happened to Republicans.
I agree with you in that we need to continue to point out hypocrisy. Especially useful as a means to start others questioning their faith in the liars and hypocrites. In my opinion though, we’ve discredited the fake news and need to focus on exposing their tyranny.

This thing that nobody believes in will certainly fail, as Bill suggests. But that thing (Marxism) is not the goal. POWER is the goal. Once these elites achieve absolute power, they don’t care whether Marxism fails or whether people buy it. In fact, so much the better for them when Marxism fails because that just makes the people weaker and them stronger.
So I’m not sure that the inevitable failure of Marxism is going to help us unless it fails BEFORE absolute power is achieved. We are under the clock here.
My first thoughts exactly. We are in a race, and we don’t have much time left. God knows what they are planning for these 2022 midterm elections. They are clearly acting in a way that implies they have it in the bag. Afghanistan withdrawal. Vaccine mandates. Very disconcerting.
And don’t forget the Pelosi/ Millie coup and phone call. The dems fear no one, at all. Conservatives are an odd breed. We want order so much that we won’t fight for virtually anything. We were afraid to fight. Now, we should be afraid to fail to fight.
I always enjoy Bill immensely and this was no exception (“the svelte keister” was a gem). But I do have a problem: our enemies here are not static as the USSR and its founding idea largely were – they are shapeshifters, affabulators, Hamelin pipers changing tune continuously. Just think of how the revolutionaries of marxian theory have constantly transmogrified, from proles to racial minorities to women to gays to trans, and on and on. I hope Bill is right, and indeed the poor showing of the progressive elites these days (sept 2021) is comforting. But still, I worry.
