Imagine a scenario where you don’t live in America at all. Geographically you are inside the borders, but your community is more like a no go zone in Europe taken over by a radical culture. If you grew up inside, how would you be able to tell what is real. How would you judge? A person raised in either camp would assign their values to the geographic country theyre in. I started thinking about this when Bill would joke that he visited America when he would go to other states. I many ways it seems like we really do have a radical culture that has moved in and taken over portions of the country. Ours is home grown more than imported but does it matter how we got here? The question is what can be done, should something be done. I dont know, but it feels like an intersting frame to view the situation. Increasingly a problem for the west, the idealogical takeover of the geography is something we need to figure out how to deal with when the fundimental values are at stake.
