Right Angle: Backstage (11-02-2021)

When the world cries out for heroes, Bill Whittle, Stephen Green and Scott Ott, rise up and with one voice, declare: “You might try the studio down the hall, third door on the right.”

I was told there was a sound cloud option for Right Angle episodes, but I don’t see a visible link here as it is present in other videos on this website. When I fish for this particular episode directly in sound cloud, it’s not in the tracks.
If I click on the playlist specifically for Right Angles in sound cloud I don’t see an option to sort by most recent and find myself scrolling a little more than i have the patience to withstand on a phone as it loads only partially each time.
Help me out a little, if you can Scott.

The Members-only Backstage episode is not published on SoundCloud, or anywhere other than here.
The other episodes of Right Angle each include an embedded audio version at BillWhittle.com.
Both Apple Podcast and Google Podcast apps show the most recent episodes first, but don’t let you sort by show name.
SoundCloud lets you sort by show name, but not most recent.
The Stitcher app lets you search for ‘Right Angle’ and then sort by newest episode, so that’s probably your best bet for what you’re trying to do.
Please let me know if you have other questions.
We appreciate you, Hugo.

You’re quite right. I caused my own confusion when I mistook right angles for the backstage episode.

I’ll continue the video streaming when this distressing feeling improves, which strangely is everything Omicron is supposed to be, but having somehow experienced it before the variant was even existing. And you guys should find it strange also. Here’s to hoping we figure it all out.

My wife and I were some of the first people to see “2001- A Space Odyssey.” The part that amazed me was the audience was almost silent as they walked out, like “What the hell did I just see?”

I think most of us never realized what Sting was really talking about in “Every Breath You Take”.

I didn’t know until recently.

Most of us thought it was him singing about his recent ex-wife and his love for her.

Come to find out it was really about him being the victim of a stalker.

Shows you never know.

What sounds like a romantic love song was actually about something totally different and much more dark.

Scott, my exact words were,
have not even listened yet. I’m just commenting on the click-bait image Bill posted……….Bill….who? Stratosphere Lounge with your host Natasha Whittle. Yeah!” (Emphasis added just now)
Scott, my use of the term Click-bait was only in the most positive, and spiritually uplifting manner possible. Certainly, you, Scott Ott, only the 2nd most positive and spiritually uplifted human, er, hu-person, to ever walk on terra firma or water for that matter, could easily see my intentions were pure when I wrote those words in the previous post.
Besides, I wrote that Bill posted the photo, after all…it IS BWDC. Doesn’t Bill do everything at the shop?

Sorry Shelley about that crack about Bill doing everything around the shop. We know who does the heavy lifting! And Scott, it was all in fun, just being goofy for a moment.
Can’t wait to hear TSL this coming Friday after this Virginia election.

Indeed, Bill does everything. Steve, Zo and I merely read the TelePrompTer scripts he has prepared for us.

Cr@p. I knew this day was coming. Swatted down by Scrapleface. Thinking of breaking all my fingers so I can’t type snarky comments on NWDC anymore.
It WAS a rather lovely photo you posted, though. Thanks for that….and for everything else you do for BWDC and it’s membership.

Great BackStage Show!
RED is a very entertaining movie.
The Police had some very creepy songs with some interesting lyrics, but my favorite lyric is this:
oh the silicone chip inside her head
switched to overload
an nobody’s gonna go to school today
she’s gonna make them stay at home
. . .
tell me why (i don’t like mondays)
tell me why (i don’t like mondays)
tell me why (i don’t like mondays)
she’s gonna shooooooot, the whole day down.
If you know what inspired it, very creepy.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. Quite aware of the artist. Just always liked the lyrics and the inspiration is pretty creepy.

Steve, you would have know if Keith was sucking nitrous if you’d gotten his attention and he responded with “DON’T YOU F***IN’ LOOK AT ME!!!”
Full Blue Velvet

I feel ya Steve. I had the same problem back when I was young and adorable, working in theatre. I was a little sad when it stopped happening as I got older.

Bill’s multi-adjective rants remind me of Dread Pirate Roberts at the end of Princess Bride as he insults the prince.

I also did see the trailer that Scott mentioned with “the Rock” and “Deadpool” being beaten up by “Wonder Woman” in a museum.

A small role in RED2, but played with his usual flair and excellence.
“I’m the baaaaad Guy!”
