Scary this is..mhh very, yess

Returning from Nine Lessons and Carols at Chapel and a Christmas beer or four with friends I turned on my computer. My feed showed a story about University College London seeking to limit the number of “dead white men” being taught in their less than hallowed halls. Well, I’d expect no less from “The Godless College on Gower Street”, as my King’s College friends call it (I myself left a bog standard Comp at 16 and so look down on all the Universities!). Still I thought I’d chuck in my two penny worth in the comments. I cannot show you a screen shot of the original post, as it was deleted but here it is from memory, it’s not long.

Here’s someone they could study who’s both live and black, Thomas Sowell.

It might not be the exact wording, but it’s very close, short, no invective, no abuse, no slurs. Still, it went to review before posting and did not survive. My practice now is to post that this is happening, so that folk know someone’s words are being “checked”. If it gets through I delete the message about the review.
