Calm down and relax. There’s nothing new in that threat assessment, it could have been written in the early to mid 90’s and it would read the same.

There ARE most likely now and HAVE BEEN previously all those threats in/to America. Have you forgotten Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols? Or the anthrax attacks immediately after the 9/11 terrorism attacks, that BTW were never actually solved to the point of proving in court who was responsible?

Or how about the several Biological Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 (BWATA) cases successfully prosecuted from the 90’s to after the turn of the century? That thwarted plots to use biological weapons against Americans and sent the terrorist perpetrators to prison? Are you even aware of those cases and the threat they posed?

Do you really want the FBI, DHS and other law enforcement agencies to ignore that kind of thing? Because that’s the kind of thing that threat assessment bulletin applies to.

What’s different now is that you’re grouping yourself in with that kind of activity because you and other people have become overly sensitized to Leftist rhetoric. I can see how that might happen but I’m also telling you most sincerely that you (and us) are not being targeted.

Nothing in that threat assessment points to you personally, or at least I hope not. Nor does it point to the rest of us here at BillWhittle.com. At least not most of us, there are a few conspiracy nuts here that it might apply to but I try to keep that kind of thing tamped down when it crops up. The rest of the right thinking people here should do that too.

The upper echelon levels of some agencies like the FBI have been politically compromised. There’s no doubt of that and I’m not defending them in any way. Merrick Garland is solid proof of that which anyone can see. That doesn’t mean that Federal Prosecutors are going to start bringing actual cases and trying for actual convictions of harmless law-abiding people speaking their mind.

Even if that was desired and intended, which it’s not, they don’t have the resources to do that. There are something like 7,000 members here on BillWhittle.com and this is a comparatively very small operation. The Daily Wire has many, many times that. That’s just two examples, hell Mark Dice has over a million subscribers. It would take an unfathomable and unattainable amount of human and monetary resources to go after them all. Just because they said something the government might not like. It just doesn’t work like that.

But … and it’s a big “but” — What has you spooked is Leftist rhetoric as it’s been applied to center and right-of-center speech and actives. Rhetoric is only rhetoric. We all know we’re not really racists no matter how many times The Squad and their useful idiots call us that. We’re also none of us doing anything that would interest anyone investigating actual terrorists. Our conversations on here might be called racist or terrorist by Left Wingnut Extremists but that’s not the same thing as being hauled into a Federal Courtroom and accused of an actual crime.

Getting kicked off Facebook or Twitter because you said something that the political hacks who work there do not like is an order of magnitude, or several, away from being arrested and prosecuted by the Federal Government for something you said that was purely political speech. Yes, it’s happening in Big Tech, but that’s not the same as trying to successfully prosecute a case in Federal Court by a long shot.

Nor is that empty rhetoric likely to result in such criminal action against any of us. For all the Left’s hysterical accusations of racism name me one person who has fit their slanted, hyperbolic definition of “racism”, and not the actual legal definition, who has been hauled into court and prosecuted for racial discrimination.

There aren’t any that I’m aware of. Sticks and stones may break my bones and all that … It’s important to separate the noise from the signal and what you’re doing just adds to the noise.

If you had bothered to actually go look at the website your post links to on “mis- dis- mal-information” you would have seen that the agency that link goes to is the CISA, the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency. I’m a subscriber to their newsletters because I work in IT and Cybersecurity is part of what I do for my clients.

On that CISA page are linked four videos which cover the mission of “mis-dis and mal-information” efforts. The first few minutes of the first video they explain a threat to election integrity that originated in Iran. Iranians spoofed Proud Boy emails and built a fairly convincing website threatening physical retribution for anyone who wasn’t a Republican voter and/or not voting for Donald Trump. They did this to make Trump look like he supported that sort of thing. It was an effort to discredit Trump, the Proud Boys and anyone else who is on the right side of politics because Iran HATES Donald Trump.

IF “the government” wanted to shut up and criminalize people like us they would have done just the opposite. They would have taken Iran’s lead and used that “proof” that we’re all super bad guys that need to be stopped. They wouldn’t have taken down Iran’s efforts, they would have amplified them. That’s not what really happened and you don’t appear to even have taken the time to look into what you’re blatting on about. So …

Do you really want Iran interfering in our elections? Do you want foreign enemies and ANTIFA using tactics to sway elections? No? Did it even occur to you that this “threat bulletin” applies as equally to ANTIFA and Iran, Russia and North Korea as it might to anyone else? Are you even aware of that sort of threat and if so what’s your excuse for not wanting it nullified? Because, what? You think a Facebook ban is going to land you in a Federal Penitentiary? Really? How stupid is that?

Do you realize that domestically there are many more active attempts to subvert our elections, and our Republic, on the Left than on the right? Do you realize the difference between a serious threat and your wet dream of self-importance? Do you want our election system protected and secured against cheating and interference?

I do.

Do you think that just because some old woman(ish) person thinks that somehow this sort of bulletin is aimed at them (you, a simpleton and a liar) we should abandon all our efforts to secure American elections from hostile actors foreign and domestic?

I don’t.

Do you realize how silly you sound trying to apply that sort of threat management to yourself and the rest of us? Did you bother to check this out past your imbecilic knee-jerk reaction to what you foolishly perceived as a threat to you and the rest of us? Do you think you can flatter yourself and make yourself more important than you are by saying this kind of Bull Spittle? News flash for you, Skippy, you’re just not that vital to national security no matter what sort of frantic furballs you cough up.

I have to ask you a serious question. Do you work for Iran, Russia, China or North Korea? If not, why are you acting like someone who does? Why are you trying to nullify the efforts to stop those very real, very serious threats by making this about some absurdity?

Do I think that this sort of stance could be “creatively reinterpreted” to apply to Conservatives? Sure I do, that’s always a danger with power in the hands of human beings. You are a prime example, you did that so of course it’s possible. You proved that. Even so, there is a real threat that’s not us, and I don’t want that threat ignored just to keep your knickers un-knotted. We’ll have to deal with creative reinterpretations if and when they happen but it’s not happening just because you crapped yourself over a routine security bulletin.

It’s telling that you think this applies to you too. Everything isn’t about you. It’s just childish that you seem to think it is.

If you understood more about the real threats and how they organically spawn and grow you would understand what I’m saying here. Clearly by your position you do not and are not likely to so I’m sure you’ll come up with some sort of lambastement of me and what I’m saying. I don’t care, knock yourself out. Spew all the frantic nonsense talking points you like. It’s not likely that you’ll be arrested and prosecuted for doing so unless you call for violence and lawlessness.
