Love Bill’s point, exactly what I thought, just nice to hear someone else say it, because it was driving me crazy watching shows with no real depth of thought.
The purpose of a judge is to render just judgements. If Jackson can’t make a judgment because it’s beyond her purview, or ruminate on the arguments, she is not fit. And there’s a reason they put on the black, Scott, andyou know this. It’s not about, Oh, they got one this time, we’ll get the next one in a new administration. No. This, Justice, should be beyond party lines.
Why has nobody asked the question :
ARE YOU A WOMAN?
If she says she is, it would lead to asking how she knows that, and then you might also ask:
Are you black? Or do you need to ask a dermatologist first?
And pending the answers to those two questions, you must wonder how she qualified for this nomination since the only two reasons she is sitting here today is because she is a BLACK WOMAN. Both being the primary qualifications for her nomination.
Using Emotions where specific FEELINGS are produced does not make it so. What does make it so is anatomy. One cam add or subtract exterior features and just say I am not a women but a man or I am not a man BUT a women is FALSE. In the Individual’s mind they believe that they are this that or whatever BUT that once again is not True.
HOW? Is it possible to be “right” when you don’t start from RIGHT?
When I was in my surgical training at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital, a patient was brought in having been assailed. The veteran nurses were smirking as the surgical interns were noticing that this was possibly the most attractive woman that we had ever seen, hoping that we could take care of her injuries and be her knight in shining armor. She was a he, the reason the ‘john’ reacted the way he did, thinking that he had just scored the girl of his dreams.
Still the best looking ‘woman’ I’ve ever seen.

The better (more biological) question is ‘what is a female’?
Scott, every day more and more evidence comes to light that Biden did not win the election that brings us the dire consequences we are now dealing with.

The consent portion means that the Senate does get to determine if the candidate is an appropriate candidate to place on the Supreme court. Just because the President nominates Satan does not mean they have to vote in favor of placing him on the court. This is another balance of power moment that allows the senate to check the unmitigated raw power grab of any president. You gentlemen out to know better than this.
Can’t or won’t define “woman” or “when life begins” pretty much renders any decision and judgment she make moot. She doesn’t have the ability to decide for herself what the history of mankind has known and believed since the beginning of time. It took “science” to foul it up for us.
I saw a video where a guy asked a woman if she knew what a woman was. When she answered yes, he asked her how she could know if she wasn’t a biologist. Her reply was, “I’m not a vet, but I know what a dog is.”
If a judge cannot define what a woman is, how can they possibly administer justice? If a biological male that claims to be a female sues his company for not giving him time off due to menstrual distress – and somehow this case makes it to the Supreme Court – how could the judge possibly determine if someone’s rights are being violated or not?
When asked about her consistent light sentencing of pedophiles and people who trafficked kiddie porn, her response was that the law was written before the internet came along and no one’s life should be ruined because it only took 15 minutes to distribute. Yeah, that makes sense…
She’s another activist judge. More chaos to come.
With regard to when life begins, I guess it now begins when the mother decides whether or not to keep her child after it has been born. Both Maine and California have proposed laws on the books that will allow an ‘abortion’ up to several weeks after the baby is born. So, life begins at 2 months old now?
The current US Senate has confirmed many many Biden appointees who are far worse than Judge Brown. I have no doubt that I will disagree with most of her rulings, I believe that she was appointed because she is a non-personable non-threatening African-American with a vagina.
One must remember that the US Supreme Court’s decisions, as to the breath and detail, are often a product of consensus where the “wavering” justices hold great power. A justice who is ideologically so far out of the mainstream will have little effect on the decisions and may well drive the wavering justices away from her positions.
The problem is Biden (and the Senate), not Judge Brown.
That should have been personable, non-threatening.

I would have liked one of the “esteemed” Senators to have asked the judge if she had ever heard of Justice Janice Rogers Brown, who would have been the first black woman on SCOTUS were it not for Joe Biden threatening to filibuster her appointment.
Any journalist asking Joe that question would be good, too.
I’ve only been kind of half paying attention to this because we all know the Democrats have the numbers and are going to put that biological woman on the court no matter what. That was brought up though. I’m not sure if others did so too, I know that Cruz was making a stink along those lines over Miguel Estrada and I think he brought up Janice Rogers Brown too. I do know for sure that Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) did bring up Janice Rogers Brown.
Perversely enough to choke on, Janice Rogers Brown was accused of being an “activist judge” by the Democrats.
It’s worth pointing out too that Clarence Thomas was smeared and defiled in the usual Democrat fashion and that Joe Biden was at that time Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and allowed if not outright abetted that travesty.
Personally I don’t think Republicans need any more reason than “what goes around comes around” to do their best to keep Ketanji Brown Jackson off the SCOTUS bench.
Glad they brought it up. I have not watched any of the kabuki theater hearings, just some coverage. And did not see this anywhere so good to know that at least some were aware.
I’m only watching some of the coverage too, but I just happened to catch those points being made.
I’m glad the duplicity of Democrat standards got entered into the record even if that isn’t really likely to stop this biological woman from getting a seat on the SCOTUS.
It’s also cool that it independently occurred to you, too. I was kind of watching for that to happen and it did. GMTA.
With six ‘nominally’ Conservative Justices on the SCOTUS we can afford it if the Democrats replace a Leftist with another Leftist so as far as that goes it’s not a big deal.
Still, I’m noticing that Democrats are leaning towards placing comparatively younger judges on the SCOTUS. Sotomayor was 54 when she was appointed and KBJ is only 51 now. Which means that once they get them there, they’ll be there for decades to come. This gives Democrats at least the hope that they’ll be able to gain a majority on the court some day in the future.
Republicans seem to have tripped to this idea too. Amy Coney Barrett is only 50, Gorsuch is 54 and Kavanaugh is 57.
So we need to avoid getting too complacent and do what we can in regard to every single nomination and appointment. Younger Conservative Judges are a good move no matter which side you’re on. I hope Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito can hold on until we get a Conservative majority in Congress and a Conservative in the White House. They’re both in their 70’s. With any luck we should be in a good position to let them retire and replace them with other, younger Conservatives in 2 more years after the 2024 elections.
That’s is, providing there’s still a United States of America and a Supreme Court after the Biden Potato is gone.

Notice that last sentence. Implicit in that is the progressive view that SCOTUS makes new law. This is THE distinction that we need to keep making and drilling into the populace. NO!! SCOTUS does not make new laws. They are supposed to decide if the laws passed by congress and signed by POTUS meet the requirements of the constitution.
This is actually a question that should have been asked of the potential justice.
You know, you have to give Potato Joe credit for one thing. He is a champ at saying the quiet part out loud.
He’s been doing it all his life. He’s just not bright enough to know when to keep his mouth shut.
What we need to do is get journalists asking him questions about the obvious corruption revealed on Hunter Biden’s laptop. It doesn’t really matter who asks the questions as long as we get the responses on the record.
Be sure to intentionally get him good and angry in the process. That’s when Blabbermouth Biden really shines and can’t help sticking his foot in his mouth.
Eventually, pieced together we would end up with a full fledged confession of political graft by Potato Joe and his family.
If we could get that ball rolling now and keep it rolling that patchwork confession should be complete just about in time for the 2024 election cycle.
As things stand it’s also quite likely that the Durham investigation is going to implicate some very high ranking people in the Democrat Party, if not Hideous Hillary herself. Though that could happen too.
THEN instead of arguing political sides on ideological grounds with all the ambiguity and lies involved in that process by Social Marxists we could just campaign against Democrats into the foreseeable future with —
“Democrats habitually run crooks for office. Do you really want to put this nation in the hands of criminals? If so, vote Democrat and by all means let everyone know which side you’re on.”
They’ve painted us all as racists so it only seems fair, and accurate, to paint them all as felons.
It’s high time we turned their virtue signalling BS back on them and took the initiative.

No matter what, the Democrat Party has put this country in immediate and severe danger. I guess maybe the best we can hope for is to avoid a total collapse and WWIII long enough for the election process to run its course.
I guess the thing that really worries me is that the election process might be so corrupted that it’s not going to matter. I’ve never been a conspiracy subscriber but even Michael Knowles on his podcast today pointed out a lot of things than I’ve been saying and thinking for months.
There has to be a reason why, and it’s beyond the point where stupidity is a credible explanation, the Democrats seem to be so amazingly oblivious to the damage they’re doing not only to the nation but to their own brand. That last one is the more worrisome to me at the moment.
Because the nation can recover if left to normal means but when people don’t even care about their own polling/popularity/political ramifications and refuse to do the things needed to fix a political plummet — There has to be a reason for that. I can’t think of a reason that has a positive outcome for America.
We do not have a 6-3 court, or I would agree with you. We have a 3-3-3 court. Three who are reliably constitutional, Three who are reliably non-constitutional (wise latina included) and three who seem to blow with the wind. Kavanaugh is especially turning into Sandra Day OConnor more every day. Makes me almost wish they had gotten their way on him.
