I can do it too. I also can sound like water dripping into water. Add in 9 accents. (11 if you count the accent that Peter Jurassic did as Londo Molari in Babylon 5 and the one Arnold Schwarzenegger has). Looking to do Castilian Spanish or upper class British next. Accents: Scottish (my favorite and my best), Irish, Italian, Swedish, India, Cajun.(spent 5 years there), one region of Mexico (sound like Slow Poke Rodriguez in Loony Tunes), Russian, and Southern (Kentucky /Tennessee border region).
I feel I’m still suffering from not Covid but with the lockdown of covid threat I do not have a desire to leave my home or go anywhere.
The loss of smell from CoVid-19 is quite common, but it is technically not loss of taste as well. 85% of our ability to distinguish flavors is due to the smell organ. We can’t distinguish coffee from chocolate, grape jelly from strawberry, and, as Scott stated, good wine from bad without the nose. Taste only covers salty, savory, bitter, and sweet. That is one of the reasons people who lose their smell opt for salty/sweet foods. As one recovers the smell sense, there is a progression from beginning to detect what smells like ash/smoke to (insert poop imoji) to normal smell eventually.
Years ago I had the misfortune of having to tell a four-star chef who had lost his sense of smell 8 months earlier that the chances of recovery were nearly nil. Placed him on disability. He couldn’t smell rotting fish. Oh, and yes, viruses before CoVid could do the “loss of smell” thing.
Can the “Price Gouging Act” extend to the government and taxes?
I cannot defend Putin, but I also can’t defend Zelinskyy. I stand with the people of both nations that have to suffer because of both of them.

I wonder if Russia would devolve a little into a Roman style consul run republic. They could have an election for their prime minister / president / whatever Putin is, but in reverse of what they have now. The consuls (oligarchs) are really running the show and the PM is their front, instead of Putin having the power and giving them crumbs for loyalty. The focus would then shift to making money and appearing Western (but possibly with a Russian flavor) so the powerful and monied can have all of their pleasures without worrying about some egotistical nutjob blowing things up and getting all of their stuff stolen with sanctions.
