His main argument for raising the age to 21 was that those in the military received training at age 18 before using their guns. How ridiculous. 1) the Uvalde shooter didn’t seem to have any problems operating his weapon despite his age. 2) no amount of training is going to prevent a mentally ill person from shooting schoolchildren…something like two of the mass shootings have been committed by people under the age of 18 (Columbine was the other one) and 3) moron McConaughey should do the least bit of research and thought—which is what people of actual good faith do—before making himself look like a complete jackass while insulting us with his “good faith” plea.
As Americans, we are ALL obligated to uphold the Constitution. McConaughey should start acting like it along with the rest of his Democrat pals. There’s nothing “moderate” about violating the Constitution. In fact, the very idea suggests that we have the right to change the Constitution whenever we think our “common sense” prevails. We don’t. That’s why the amendment process exists.
Get used to it Ana. She and her nonsensical moral preening need to go too. Riding around without your kids in car seats and allowing little wandering kids to drown in your pool are not constitutional rights. Not that I agree with forcing parents to car seat their children or pool owners to erect fences, but at least those are direct solutions with direct results. Taking guns away from perfectly mentally healthy people looking to defend themselves due to some deranged whacko school shooter is most definitely not.

Screw these people. They shouldn’t be given the time of day. We need to tell them to sit down and shut up unless they want to get the votes together to change the Constitution with an amendment.
They don’t want to consider any other solution than restricting gun ownership, and we all know the reason for that is they have no interest in solving the problem. Blaming the guns is just like blaming climate change, blaming institutional racism and blaming a pandemic that kills virtually no one. They’re all scams and cons by these authoritarians who now, by the way, are blowing the “racist” law and order dog whistle and telling us all through the DHS bulletins that we shouldn’t be “anti-authority.”
These are bad people who DO NOT operate in good faith. They have their hidden communist agenda to follow, and disarming law abiding Americans is the crown jewel in that plan.
Something else to consider is the coming “climate emergency” that Biden is preparing to declare (hence Janet “Yoda” Yellen voicing her concern over the climate in front of Congress as the Secretary of the TREASURY). Do you remember the climate emergency of Hurricane Katrina? Do you remember what they did to the New Orleans residents?
They stripped them of their firearms.
Now pair that with a FEMA which is actively seeking to prevent “climate emergencies.” Who’s to say they won’t disarm us in anticipation of a self-determined “climate emergency” of their choosing?

I’m also tired of hearing how the bleeding hearts are the “fair ones” who want to protect “the children” or that they’ve got a “good heart” and are operating in good faith.

I don’t see McConaughey or Navarro or any other Democrat who claims to hold children dear piping up about:
* the child trafficking on the border,
* abortion,
* grooming children in school,
* masking and vaccinating children unnecessarily,
* defending parents accused of being domestic terrorists for objecting and trying to protect their children—including the father whose daughter was RAPED in school by a boy pretending to be a girl…a boy who went on to do it AGAIN in Loudoun County, VA, or;
* the destruction of the nuclear family and fatherless homes which leads directly to teens joining gangs and shooting each other (not to mention banging innocent people over the head or shooting them for their cars or wallets)
….or suggesting pretty much anything that a PERSON WITH ACTUAL COMMON SENSE WOULD RECOMMEND.
As far as the idiotic red flag laws, does anyone seriously want to give pearl-clutching liberals overwrought with fear and guilt over their own incapacity to handle a firearm the power to snitch on their neighbors? C’mon man!
It’s a ridiculous suggestion on its face. If you want to say mentally ill, then sure…WITH A VERY SPECIFIC DEFINITION. In my opinion, that would have to look something like a panel of at least three maybe five experts in psychiatrity—and I mean true experts not some b.s. lefties named by the liberal American Psychiatric Association who keeps changing the DSM-5 at the direction of the left—which the prosecution and the defense would empanel with the help of the family. Would also need to be available for citizen review somehow, though the privacy of the patient would need to be addressed.
Without such a framework, every person with a lick of actual common sense knows that the leftist tyrants in charge will just keep expanding the definition of “mentally ill” until it includes just about everyone. They already do it with racism to restrict free speech, domestic terrorism and the effects of climate change. They even changed the definition of “vaccine” to include anything that boosts your immune system.
The Democrats and RINO’sa are lying, cheating, hypocritical tyrants abusing McConaughey’s face and reputation for their own power like a gigolo pushing a stroller in a park trolling for women. “True the Vote” is on to their election rigging. The FBI involvement in January 6th is becoming clearer by the day. And they’re terrified of the consequences of jail and possible execution for treason. I don’t know what else you would call dealing with the communists behind our backs to destroy our country.
America is back, and we’re not putting up with your tyranny any longer.
P.S. The CDC’s new “common sense” recommendation is to wear a mask to prevent the spread of monkey pox…which is spread primarily through close contact—anal copulation from the reports I’ve heard—not the air.
