At the very least, it looks like Joe Biden’s heart is just not in the job. At worst, he’s ‘not all there’ anymore. What are the consequences to the country of a man who can’t marshal his focus on the job?

I would disagree w/ Bill’s premise. The President and the Federal government should not be “flying” the country. They should not have that much authority or power over our day-to-day lives.

Any individual who has an IQ HIGHER than #46, can ride a bike without fall off, can speak coherently and able to walk up stairs KNOWS #46 is mentally disabled. WHAT I don’t understand is WHY? any inquisitive individual does not look at “call me dr.” Biden?

Votes haVe have Consequences BOTH intend and MORE importantly unintended that have Results. Said Results can be the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. With #46 who is and NEVER was fit for the Job of President of the UNITED States proves the proceeding. He was a below average Senator, a ineffective vp and a pure unfiltered disaster #46.

Voters have to STOP using their Emotions as a Thinking tool and rediscover their functioning Brain.

Regarding the senator not wanting Joe’s help on the anti-gun bills….
My impression was that with Joe’s way of spewing out lies and nonsense that his handlers have to walk back several in the Senate do not want him trying to inject himself into the process and throw it off the rails. He may have forgotten how to negotiate (if he knew and was able while in the Senate) or if he just wants the limelight (while none of his handlers want him in it). I imagine that since he’s wanted to be President for so long, now that he finally is, some part of his brain wants to actually play President and be in the forefront, but the rest isn’t able to keep up with things while he is there.
The other Senators though won’t want someone calling a 9mm whatever he called it (assault weapon, something he wanted to come and take, or something) getting involved and making the RINOs just back off and harden up instead of going along with the bait and switch the Dems will have planned.

The Whisperer, Mr.Sniffy, Poopy Pants, POTATUS. Gee a lot of us see exactly what’s happening to Biden and in return to US!. An evil man without a conscience has agreed to allow others (and himself!!) to commit felonies so that he could become President through swing state massive fraud. Can demented persons commit evil acts? Yes, they can. He’s okay with that. The Dems and others who put him in the WH are perfectly fine with what they have done. They relish what they’ve done.
It’s going to get worse. Prepare as best you can.

Any physician with diagnostic capabilities knew that Biden was hopelessly in the throws of Alzheimer’s well before the election. I’m actually standing in awe of the success of the medical regimen that he is receiving, given the mental deterioration that they started with and the seeming reversal of things like temporal wasting, the shuffle, and the falling.
He’s not “resigned to his place in history”. He doesn’t know that he is awake. He’s not even a “sentient houseplant” any more, as Klavan refers to him.

The “uneven smile” is actually a smirk. He has spent thousands of hours practicing it in front of a mirror. Give it the respect it deserves, It is perhaps his most significant achievement.

Biden has never been strong intellectually. He has also never been a particularly hard worker. His presence in the White House brings both those lacks to the forefront, daily. We are the worse off that he can’t be held to account.

Like many, I suspect that Joe has some dementia. The only reason I would not give this as a definitive is that there are other possibilities. His cognitive decline is definitely present; but to be fair – Joe was never in the top 75% of brains in the US Senate at any time in his 40 years there.
My bigger issue is this: There is clearly something amiss. We are supposed to be a free country with a free press. This is exactly the type of political BS that our “4th estate” should be investigating and reporting about. This is not a wink wink – oh Jack or Bill have wandering eyes and little brains. This directly impacts policy and decision making for the country.
Some “news” anchor ought to sit down for a live interview with SloJo – agree to all the conditions. And then ask the actual tough questions. When he start to lose, it – keep pushing. Expose it and get to the root.
Whichever one did this would be a national hero – even if it was Tater.
I think the real reason that this doesn’t happen is a puppet Joe is thought to be better than Kackling Kammie.
Why Kammie is not leaking stuff is really a good question.

You’re absolutely right about the free press not doing its job. Maybe it’s not so free after all, if they’re always overlooking the obvious when it doesn’t fit their narrative.
Whenever I read your posts my mind is hearing it in Ron Swanson’s voice. Thank you for that, he was my favorite Parks & Rec character.

Mine, too, obviously. But I only started watching it when my daughter said there was a character on it just like me. 😉

I would guess Kammie wasn’t issued any competent staffers by the DNC because she was picked as a token and has not real qualifications either. She is a placeholder in more ways than one and doesn’t have the political chops to handle herself, much less take down the currently favored one.

This is exactly why the Presidency should have an age limits, both minimum and maximum. Of course there will be exceptions where someone still qualified would be denied the opportunity, but the point of setting some reasonable limits is to avoid this very current problem, where one’s own party is never going to admit the truth. Instead, they’ll make every provision and excuse possible to avoid having him speaking extemporaneously in public, excuse his absence from events, etc. And all to country’s detriment. Who knows anymore if what he says is what *he* believes, or the puppeteer(s) behind the curtains. Age limits at least provide an objective means to avoid this situation.

Dementia has a timeline. Usually 7 to 8 years after the first inarguable signs, one’s brain forgets how to tell the involuntary bodily systems to work. This is incompatible with life. For proof of Biden’s current condition, wait for his passing and count back the years.

Sigh. Scott? When are you going to get a CLUE about SharterJoe? He can’t even control his bowels in public, and you’re half-stepping about his mental faculties. It’s time for you to smell the coffee, sir.

That is why I skipped over them. I refused to feed my headache.
Like Biden, everything that spews from Kimmel’s mouth is a waste of time to hear.

Every time I hear the President speak, I fast forward. The alternative is risking all the bad things that might happen when your blood pressure shoots through the roof.

If Biden* got 1% of the scrutiny that Trump did he couldn’t get elected as dog catcher. It was clear as day just on the campaign trail
