And how crazy do you have to be to believe you’re in the right?
Everything about this story makes me sick to my stomach, why the hell do these wack-job liberals never get held responsible for their actions? It feels like we’re living in 2 different countries now, with 2 different sets of rules.
Something has to change soon, or we’re going to lose our freedoms and the US will fail like every other civilization in history has.
The ruling “elite” aren’t even trying to hide their corruption anymore, it’s there out in the open and it’s truly ruining this country for future generations.
Dehumanization of political rivals is an important step for any authoritarian movement. The Russians had the Kulaks, the National Socialist Workers’ Party had the Jews, there were the Maoist, etc. We’re seeing them well under way with incidents like this, Robert Creamer hirng thugs to attack Trump rallies in 2016, the FBi now, etc. What will be interesting to see is that this time it’s being ramped up against a society that has not been disarmed. I’m genuinely curious to see how the Dems envision getting to “Step 5: Profit”.
If our domestic enemies ever start rounding us up, it’s going to blow up in their faces bigger than they can ever imagine. Let Sleepy prattle on about how he has F15s, his military doesn’t have the hauling capacity to feed Los Angeles for a day.
One of the biggest parts of the problem we face is political inertia. The Left neo-Marxists have found a home in the Democrat Party, which welcomed that viper to their bosom willingly, and they have been building inertia for decades.
The real hope is that as they go too far, that inertia will be countered by people that object to their excesses.
No matter how much political and social inertia the Left has built up, it all has to come to a head sometime. There must come a point where things become so obvious that even the most complacent American knows some sort of action must be taken.
As Bill says, the manure is already very deep. They’re ‘saying the quiet part out loud’ now. They’ve used planetary climate as an excuse to build personal power and implement unnecessarily draconian energy policies that hurt and even kill the poor they have always claimed to champion. They’re creating massive amounts of fiat money which drives inflation at a rate that we haven’t seen in decades and which only promises to get worse because it is rapidly approaching the point where it’s not only the worst in decades — It will be the worst ever.
They’ve been able to accomplish all this with a complicit press. The press was the Founding Father’s hope to counterbalance this sort of problem and I’m sure those Great Men never envisioned a domestic press willfully lying on behalf of the enemies of America. Even if they had, I’m at a complete loss to see what they could have done about such a thing.
Still, no matter how much the press lies there comes a point where the lies become obvious and absurd.
I’m on a fixed income and I have a budget I have to follow to get by comfortably. I buy groceries about every two months except for things rapidly perishable like milk and bread. I just resupplied last week and I was able to only get about 75% of the groceries I used to buy. That’s a 25% loss in my purchasing power.
For food. Funny thing about food, it’s something you absolutely have to have.
No matter how much the press lies and covers for the Democrat Left, my shelves are nowhere near as stocked as they were a year ago and that was less than a year before that.
There’s no way I’m alone in noticing this kind of thing.
I have to think that the Democrat Left does this intentionally. They likely believe that there will come a point where people like me will have to go on some sort of government program to procure sufficient food to live. The obvious intention would then be to take the position “You depend on us to live. Do what we say or we’ll cut you off and let you starve.”
The manure is getting very deep indeed.
I know a few people, not a lot but not none either. Out of everyone I know, with the exception of the wife of a friend who’s a teacher, no one voted for these people we now find ourselves abused by. I don’t think things are going to work out the way the Left has planned no matter how much inertia they have. Because virtue signalling what a wonderful person you are will not hold up long if you can’t buy enough groceries. Self interest is a powerful motivator and the more obvious the self interest becomes the more powerful the force it exerts.
Even my buddie’s teacher-wife is looking at their retirement funds dwindle with more than a little alarm. If things can get through her shell of Leftism they’re getting through to a lot of people.
This virtue signalling phony compassion and activism is pretty shallow. It’s nothing but feel-good bait tendered by the Left to get shallow people on their side. To get power. It only works when it’s a First World concern, when living standards drop below a certain point it works less and less well but — The second the Left thinks it doesn’t need them anymore the gloves come off.
Which is what we’re seeing now so …
My hope and prayer is that they don’t have some unknown and as yet unrevealed plan for a power grab that they believe is the final implementation of their power lust. Something that will permanently give them a lock on political power.
After the last election I’m no longer certain that decisive election cheating has not become a permanent fixture in America.
There’s always been some cheating especially by the Democrats, I’m not naive about this and that’s not what I’m talking about so don’t go there. If you want to rage and bluster you’re not helping anything in doing so. The enemy just points at you, laughs and says “Look at that nutjob. Do you want his kind running things?” Give us all a break and keep your petty curmudgeonly smelly flatulence to yourself. These are weighty tactical and strategic matters that must be approached with intelligence, originality and cold blooded, clear-eyed resolve.
If the Left can basically run a 4 year coup attempt on a duly elected president, and then depose him with cheating facilitated by a massive political machine, that may have been a test run for what they have in store for the future.
We need to think long and hard about what we’re going to do about that.
We need both tactics and strategy to counter this thing.

I agree with you and think the Left is doing some of this on purpose, some of it is just fellow thinking fellow bubble living drones just all doing the same thing without organization and a whole lot of people thinking they’re smarter than others but don’t know what a raw vegetable looks like… much less what the outside of meat looks like.
What cannot continue, won’t.
I think the most dangerous part of things, though the part we are closest to and can actually fix, is all of the people that don’t have the knowledge to reason out cause and effect and would be most willing to go along with whatever the Left tries to point out as the cause of the failure. The more we can use Scott’s Fancy Marble parable to explain inflation, educate people about food (especially elementary and middle school Garden Clubs – see if you (any you) have one at your local schools) and I would say agitate local governments, elected representatives and public utility type boards to harden our electric and natural gas infrastructures (against wild fire, hurricane, tornado or other regional natural disasters, not just terrorists and Carrington effects) the safer we’ll all be (and I seem to write a lot of long, run on sentences.)
As a truck driver, I sometimes have a hard time maintaining the cognitive dissonance to keep bringing cities food. In 2020 I declined a few loads that would have allowed me to work my way home because they delivered to Seattle and Portland. Telling the most independently minded people on the planet that they are a bunch of hateful, racist, terrorists may have consequences. Particularly, when the people doing the telling keep making serving them a pain in the ass on a good day.
Regardless of my bluster and political affiliations, I’m not particularly violent; however, it is important for others to know that I am dangerous — especially when anyone threatens those for whom I care, myself included. This sort of public impression may (or may not) have helped this young man, but more situational awareness, which I worked hard to ingrain into my children’s thinking, would likely have done so.
This is a very sad story for the young man, his family and especially the community that now must live with this monster that is now released on bail.
Our state’s recent lt gov, now running for senate, has had a lot of independent ads on tv and radio pointing out how he’s all for no cash bail. Unfortunately for him, a thug out on $1000 bail after trying to run over an ex-girlfriend killed several people at a Christmas parade just last year and that is all fresh in people’s minds. Predictably, he’s not doing as well in the polls… but probably 48% of the state will still vote for him cause he’s a black Dem.
And this murderer was released after posting $50,000 bail? That shows me that the powers that be are not treating this with the seriousness it deserves. President Brandon is culpable in this crime since he incited violence against 50% of America in his speech from hell.
Hmmm…guess those “shy” GOP voters would rather not be “submerged” beneath six feet of dirt.
Imagine the coverage if a white guy ran down a Democrat.
Or a white “MAGA Republican” ran down a Black Democrat.
Take the same photo, don’t tell a lib that the guy on the right who ran down the young man was a Democrat and the handsome young man was a right-winger, and tell him that one ran down the other with a car. You know what would happen.
