I used to introduce my Mom as my daughter when she visited my church with us. She had started to decline slightly, but she once leaned over to me and said I should stop doing that or somebody will believe me. LOL Spiritually, I was her “Dad,” sort of, because by her own testimony, God gave me the unspeakable privilege of being the human most influential in bringing her to Himself.

A person who votes Demonrat for ANY reason has blood on his hands. There is no legitimate tradeoff between child sacrifice and ANYTHING else. Even if their party was correct about EVERYTHING else, voting Demonrat would STILL be a despicable abomination.

Tulsi is just now seeing how insane the Demonic-rat party is. They’ve been pretty successful in hiding it, until Trump shook them up. I had conversations with her a few months ago. I’m glad she’s realized the darkness that controls the party.

Zo is starting to look like an Old Testament prophet … Cool.

Boycotts don’t work against business entities with global reach. I’ve heard all the arguments and they’re all bogus. For every Conservative who manages to block out and blockade something to any realistic degree there are at least three Leftists who will fill that void. Boycotting these venues is exactly what the venue wants you to do. They WANT you to be gone, they WANT you to shut up and get off their platform, and you’re helping them when you do that. Turning your back on the monster doesn’t stop it, it just exposes your back for a thorough stabbing.

Whatever miniscule gain is realized in depriving these platforms of the tiny bit of money they make off you is completely offset and negated because you’re allowing them to create and expand the echo chamber they will use against you. Without you having a thing to say about anything because you’re gone and gone is where they want you to be.

A far better strategy is to use script and adblockers, and some other quasi-legal means I won’t get into here, to deprive them of as much income as you can while still using their own platform against them and remaining a thorn in their side.

For instance, YouTube would love nothing more than for all Conservatives to go away. Which would de-popularize and defund every Conservative channel content provider on YouTube. Which would make all those channels go away. Which would remove all the Conservative, Centrist and Libertarian voices from YouTube. Which would keep the messages from all those sources from reaching anyone and remove any hope of convincing people that our side is right.

YouTube and Google would love it if you intentionally muzzled and silenced all those content providers and shut the hell up by never, ever leaving a comment containing any Conservative arguments on their platform. If they can’t reach that ideal then getting rid of as many Conservatives as possible will have to do. A boycott is a way of accomplishing that.

You’re not feeding the monster so much as you are leveraging his own weight against him. Feed him as little as you possibly can and punch back as hard as you can if you want to resist that monster. If you boycott and leave you can’t punch back. Sound reasoning, workable ideology, evidential argument and blatant mockery of the stupidity of the Left hurts that monster far, far more than depriving it of your tiny amount of income.

There is no way you’re going to starve these beasts by denying them the tiny amount of income your boycott will negate. No matter how many people you convince to join your boycott. These beasts don’t need you and would as soon be rid of you. Don’t help them accomplish that. Absolutely do NOT help them accomplish that so you can smugly and erroneously think you’re doing something positive when you’re not.

Sounds like you are recommending inaction.

I don’t boycott something with the primary intent of making it hurt them. I boycott something because I do not want my support, however insignificant it is, to go to them. If the want to spin that into some sort of victory, then they’ve already spent more time worrying about it than I have. I have no delusion that my boycott will cripple anybody. I simply have the clear consience that, in boycotting, I assure that no support to them comes from me.

Um … How can you interpret “get in there and fight, use the beast to defeat the beast instead of running away” as ‘inaction’?

Sounds like you didn’t actually read what I said.

Sounds like you think your hands are too righteous to get them dirty fighting the beast. Which is Ok but also is much like a soldier who refuses to debase himself by crawling through mud to get at his enemy. If you want to actually fight the enemy you have to go where the enemy is. That almost always involves getting a little dirty yourself. If all you care about is staying out of the mud then let the enemy have his way. We can’t all be soldiers. In fact, very few of us can do that.

If that’s not you it’s not, but don’t accuse me of ‘inaction’, that’s just not so.

If you want to actually fight an enemy you have to go where the enemy is. Running away isn’t fighting. Boycotting is running away where these sorts of things we’re talking about are concerned.

I’m not saying to never boycott any entity under any circumstances. I’m specifically addressing the topic at hand.

I also didn’t say that the enemy ‘spins your absence into some sort of victory’. They don’t. They don’t care about you even a little bit so they don’t bother to spin anything. You not being there to fight them is the victory they want and if you want to give it to them then that’s on you. They aren’t ‘spinning’ anything, they’re winning by silencing the opposition.

Which I made very clear in my post so please henceforth do me the solid of not trying to put words in my mouth. Because that’s just chickenshit and completely unprincipled. Especially for someone who claims to be standing oh his principles.

Tulsi left the Democrats but also never gave a hint of her destination but that alone could have an influence of nearly 5 points in some polls prior to November Elections.

Tulsi is still a Leftist, but a 90s Democrat. She still embraces a number of their destructive ideas, but hasn’t pulled together how they’re part of today’s Dems’ efforts to destroy America

I’ll half second Steve’s reasons for Tulsi’s lack of traction, but put it as
Well spoken heretics won’t be accepted by Democrats no matter how well spoken.
The pyramid of grievances only help her so much, being a woman, but she wasn’t Green (enviro) enough or Red (socialist, like Bernie or AOC) enough and when the party bosses picked Joe, it didn’t matter what support anyone else had.

Has Bill finally taken a vacation? I watched Tulsi’s video this morning. She will make a good Republican, especially if she keeps talking and exposing the Dems and their hypocrisy.

I don’t know if I can agree that Tulsi will make a good Republican or not, she’ll make a darn fine Independent and 60% of the nation, including me, is Independent. So welcome aboard, Tulsi.

There are a lot of things Tulsi says that I don’t agree with but that’s just fine. I’m not trying to cancel her and she’s not trying to cancel me. If more people were like that, we’d have a better nation. We need more Tulsis and less nutjob Social Marxist Leftists.

I hope Bill took some time off. He was getting a little ragged around the edges. He hardly ever smiles anymore and hardly ever makes jokes too. Bill needs to step back, take a deep breath and realize he doesn’t have to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. The Man Upstairs is in charge of that and He’s got things under control no matter how they may look superficially.

I thought I saw an email to the membership in the past week or so. He has a new project for Daily Wire that he is working on about the atrocities in the Soviet Union and it has also been decided that both The Cold War and Forgotten Heroes will be rerecorded as Video, similar to Apollo: What We Saw. Which is great news, I have listened to Cold War series multiple times, it is an excellent opus.
So he said he might get Zo in to assist and maybe have Scott do Virtue Signal so he is doing a little less candle at both ends.
But, I agree, he needs to take some time and Sharpen the Saw.
