This is why I don’t believe in “the singularity”.
It is a database of phrases and the only intelligence goes into writing the code that produces pretty predictable results …
It sounds like maybe it looks at your cookies or google history to decide what your political leanings are to help it select phrases that are more amenable to the user.
“Do you mind if we search your car?”
“Yes I mind! Are you calling me a liar!?”
Army spokesperson says “We don’t want a bunch of troublemakers forced into the military.”
Unfortunately too many kids would probably not think ahead and see something worse. Running the streets as part of a gang, dealing drugs and stealing whatever, making lots of money and thinking they’re in charge of their lives might sound like a good life.
I wonder how Musk would deal with the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail .. “My grandfather build a castle, and it fell into the swamp.” and the second, and the third… but the fifth one stayed up.
If we had the Eliot Ness FBI, we could trust them with the encrypting keys for Apple. Since the Fibbies are far short of that, we cannot.
I would wonder if Musk has some kind of dead man protocol that should he expire in unexpected ways, certain info could be mass released on Twitter. With his ability to put sizable payloads in orbit, I would also worry if one of those was a little heaver and more solid than declared, and it was dropped on my house.
three peas in the pod?
If you think that Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is not hiring based upon equity, diversity and inclusion, then you are completely deluded. I work at LLNL’s predecessor, and those philosophies are prolific in ALL of the corporate and laboratory halls.
Absolutely agree. I recently retired from a sister lab in New Mexico (not Los Alamos), and we’ve had that garbage jammed down our throats for years.
They didn’t happen to mention if these inmates had violated conditions or anything did they?
Here in Pa, they say they no longer need permission to search your vehicle.
Scott, how willfully blind are you? Epstein’s guards took a plea deal where they admitted to falsifying evidence.
Remove EVERYTHING Bloogle from your life while you still can. Which at this point, you really can’t totally. God help us all.
Good luck with that unless you plan to live like the Amish.
I’ve done pretty well at it, actually. But yeah, I kind of do live like the Amish.
So, are you going to buy some Trump Cards? lol
You think those tech toys are fun…frankly, it should scare you spiritually.
I will NEVER give up my TurboEncabulator!
Well, if you retain the ability to survive at least a few months in the wilderness without electricity, then I see no immediate concerns. However, if not, then you might have a problem. We’re living in a time when a well-placed nuclear device in the atmosphere above America, so it’d be wise to not become dependent on worldly technology. That, and the more power you give the tech giants, the more they take. Just a thought.
The biggest problem is…
Oh yeah. What Bill said re: the environmentalists.
Watermelons: green on the outside, red on the inside.
The AI has to be “considering the source of the request”.

the AI is buttering up Bill, do not lower your defenses
I do not comment on many of the videos, but on some of the complaints about the format change, I wanted to say that you guys are still only halfway there.
I think you should just host the show as a livestream, and make a point of taking member questions and comments during the livestream. That gives the members something specific in place of the full length backstage, but also advertises membership every episode.
Please watch the Podcast of the Lotus Eaters for example. They only take questions and comments from their members, and they are able to take live questions during the livestream. They post the full episode and segments on Rumble and post the segments they can on YouTube, but the members get livestream and comment access.
Something else the Podcasts of the Lotus Eaters does right, is that they refer to previous segments on evergreen topics, such as their Epochs series, Book Club series, and their Contemplations series. So they are always promoting previous content. They also only ever put up a preview of those different episodes so that you are always reminded that members are getting the rest of the content that you as a freeloader are not getting.
The first link is to a separated segment, the second is to a full episode.
Hopefully you guys find this useful.
