I usually try to make memes funny…

In this case, it really isn’t funny at all. These things happened within a few miles of each other and only months apart. Last month, a lone woman, with no placards or signs, was standing alone and silently praying outside an abortion clinic in Birmingham. The clinic was closed at the time. Birmingham council have a special order in place effectively forbidding protest, including prayer, within a certain distance of abortion facilities. The woman, Isobel Vaughn-Spruce was arrested and is charged with four counts of breaching a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO).

Last summer large groups of Sunni Muslims staged protests outside cinemas in Birmingham, Bradford, Sheffield, Bolton, and other places against the screening of the film The Lady of Heaven, a biopic about Fatima, daughter of Mohamed. The film was written by Yasser Al-Habib, a Shia cleric, and tells her story from the Shia perspective. Cineworld cancelled all showings of the film in the United Kingdom to “ensure the safety” of their staff and customers.

As a much maligned British politician once said, “We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation…”

Such madness is a societal sickness that cannot be cured with coddling. It must be cut from society like a malignant tumor from the body — both figuratively and literally.

“It must be cut from society like a malignant tumor from the body — both figuratively and literally.”

That’s a very easy thing to say and a very difficult trick to pull off. Do you have any realistic suggestions on how to accomplish that?

The biggest mistake is letting this sort of thing go the first time it happens. Especially with militant Islamists who are literally on a social ratchet where once they achieve something it’s damned difficult to undo it. Made even more difficult by the fact that they’re more than happy to spill blood over pretty much anything they don’t agree with.

Which is irrelevant at this point because now that it has happened multiple times in Britain it’s not going to be easy to stop.

The British have no one to blame but themselves. Their propensity to elect perfidious leadership and self-destructive habit of voting from a place of self-delusion have brought about this sorry state.

So I’d like to hear any ideas or plans anyone has along the lines of cutting these tumors out of society by whatever figurative or literal means might work. It’s one thing to make emphatic statements safely behind a keyboard and a whole ‘nother thing to come up with a plan of action that has any hope of success.
